Gosh I miss you all, I miss my blogging, I miss my time to get online and answer all of your amazing comments on our last blog post about the rain! We are fine by the way, the rain stopped and the creek bed went down. Mind you we have learnt our lesson and we now make sure we have full batteries and are able to move if and when needed!
Since He Was Home ::
As many of you all know we waited seven long months for our older Woody Son to return from out at Sea. Since he has been home he has been so sick. First it was an ear infection that took hold of him, and it lasted almost a week. He had a few days break and was feeling good….then crushed and burned bigger time.
He thought he had a infected tooth and was in so much pain. Sleeping it off as much as possible, taking pain killers which is unusual for him because he normally wont take any panadol at all – and he was taking things stronger just to cope through the pain. Being in the Navy he is not allowed to seek medical attention through normal channels so he had to wait till the Monday to see the Navy Dentist.
To be Told ::
It was not a tooth infection….they actually could not find anything wrong with any of his teeth even after taking an ex-ray and even after probing around with a needle. All seemed good.
When he got back from the Dentist and was describing his pain and the symptoms he was getting, it soon became clear that it was a Sinus Infection, and was affecting his mouth {the Tooth Ache was from the blocked Sinus}
Once we all realized what was going on it was almost like a big sigh of relief. We could treat the infection, he went to the Health Food Store and they gave him products that helped immediately. He was almost getting better with all of the Yummy food I was cooking him, and the health food products soon put him on the mend. Not completely but enough to be able to stand up and enough to be able to enjoy the day without sleeping through it.
David and I have had lots of talks about how run down his immune system is, and we both have come to the conclusion that the last month of his deployment he was pushed to the max with three team members no longer on board the ship, so he was basically doing his job plus three. He was not able to rest enough during the night {between his shifts} and he was not eating enough nutrients/healthy meals. Combined with now being able to relax and do his own thing….his body caught up with him and let him know that it was time for much needed R&R, TLC and good food.
Breathe Again ::
I have been back and forward to Sydney so much in the last few months, but I have to say that the last two weeks have been the most tiring of all…..running two homes {our motorhome and our sons place} with a very sick son is not my ideal of fun. Don’t get me wrong, I am loving that he is home but I am so glad that he is now on the mend….he is on lots of health immune boosting tablets so my fingers are crossed that his health improves more everyday.
I am was running on auto pilot yet I now feel that I can breathe again, at least take the time out of my crazy lifestyle to appreciate this ::
Coming home the other day I was rushing around trying to do boring adult things {washing/unpacking/cleaning!} when I went to look for our two sons….and I looked up.
So Very Grateful
So glad I rushed back to our motorhome to get the camera, and capture this sunset….It was like the sunset was telling me “Its going to be OKAY now, you are back in the Motorhome, Your son is getting better and now you can appreciate what’s in front of YOU”
Very Very Very Very Grateful that Life is back on track…..our son’s health is so very important to us. When any of our sons is not well it puts a strain on the whole family because everyone realizes that I am not able to be/do everything at once – cant be in two places at once!! I feel so good knowing that he is not feeling so poorly. So much happier when they are healthier. And I love it when they wake up smiling.
To me all that has ever matter is their happiness. When they are happy, I am happy.
Now I have over 1000 emails to answer {so very sorry if you haven’t heard back from me regards wanting to work with us on our blog – but its been crazy for over two weeks!}, comments to reply to, sleeping to catch up on, Blog Giveaway Posts to write, Vlogs to edit….I so missed not posting on our YouTube Channel every day and it was so getting me down not being able to sit on the computer and edit all of the footage that I have been taking!
Like I said I have missed you all….
Now that our older son is here, and is playing a round of golf with our younger son for the afternoon I am able to play catch-up.
Please know that you all mean so very much to us, we appreciate all of your love/Support/Kind words…..its been nice to know that you all think of us.
Since He Was Home our life has been full on…..lets have an easier next few weeks with lots of fun spent with him, good times and creating great memories!
Thanks for sticking around……
Here’s To More New Life on the Road Adventures!

New Life on the Road.
I am glad all is well now. The sinus infection must have been bad to affect Woody Son’s teeth. I take horseradish garlic and C tablets every day. I have not seen them with histidine. It is awful when our kids are sick 🙁 I don’t envy you your 1000 emails!

Its been about two weeks since he has come home, can’t wait to have fun with him once he is well enough 🙂
Still trying to get to those emails….hoping over the weekend to have time 🙂
So glad to hear your son is better. When everyone is healthy, life is certainly good. Hang in there. You play such an important role – to everyone 🙂

Oh, Lisa! He must’ve been so run down from his deployment! A mother’s job is never ending and the responsibilities don’t get easier, do they? You’re doing a fantastic job and I’m sure your son is appreciating all those home cooked meals and visits.
Hope you get some respite, my dear x

My sinuses often are reflected in my jaw or teeth. I understand your son’s pain and am glad he is on the mend 🙂
