Cool photos..my husband and I were very fortunate to visit Easter Island this past fall…it was amazing…I’m so glad we saw it. The top-knot on the one moai is called a pukao and is made from a special red volcanic stone found on a quarry on the island. My husband is an engineer and he still can’t figure out how they got it on top!
