This is from back in June of 2015!! Yep I haven’t had time to blog that much so I am still trying to do our travels of New South Wales.
After we left Moonan Cottage we headed to Big River Holiday Park Grafton as we had heard how they were offering such a great rate for campers, and how good their kitchen facilities were. I can’t remember where I read about the info but it was on a facebook page {maybe a camping page?}
We also had to be close to the Goldcoast for a special event the next day, so we know we had a long drive ahead to get to Grafton, and yet it was worth it. It rained so heavy that night, and we were extremely wet packing up which meant we had a wet few nights of sleeping.
David decided to take the most curvy road ever, and it went FOREVER!!! We actually all got a bit car sick from that road as it took us over a mountain and down to the other side with many twists and turns. It so surprised us to see cattle on the road, and we even got to watch the Farmer pull up and take his dogs out of the back of his ute to round them up.
The curvy roads, the cattle on the road and the rain made it a very long journey to Big River Holiday Park Graffton but its not the destination that is important, its the journey.
If we didn’t have to be somewhere that night we would have stayed another night at Big River Holiday Park Grafton as they were such lovely people running the place.
But now we know its there we will return another time on our travels.
We still have many places to share from New South Wales and even from our trip that we did to Melbourne when one of our boys graduated from the Navy!!! Yeah I have lots of blogging trips to catch up on, maybe one day I will get up to date.
Why bother with trying to catch up? Well I like to have a record for our boys to one day read this blog, and realise how lucky they were to see so many amazing places. And I like to share with you where we have been.
Its like an online diary!
Have You Been to Big River Holiday Park Graffton?
Where is your favorite Caravan Park?
Cheers

New Life on the Road.
Amazing to see your old pictures, wet and wild weather is part of Australian weather. We been to Halls Gap Tourist Park and during that time they are renovating so didn’t enjoy much. I searched it and they are newly open. I want to visit other camp site as well to experienced different vibes. I love being outdoor, campervans is amazing. I love the freedom of being flexible like you can cook with your own anytime and can rest too.
