Cascade Waterfall

Posted by on February 15, 2014

We found it!! We went looking for Cascade Fall…….and thought we had found it when we stumbled on Jump Rock Falls.

It was the most pleasant walk ever, so easy – the track is wide enough for a Jogging pram, not sure how bumpy the ride would be for baby but it was an easy walk on a track that even had steps as well as a man made walk way over a steep section.

David and Kyle even convinced me to walk up higher to the next part of the water fall….which was steep but so worth it

We all had a lot of fun at Cascade Waterfall…so can see us returning there some other time

Location :: Drive towards Macquarie Pass from Albany Park. Park at the Bottom on the right hand side, walk across the grass area {looks like a Playground/BBQ area/Picnic Area} to a path. You will know you are in the right spot because “Cascade Waterfall” information board is there at the entrance.

Walk to the rear right hand corner of the picnic area.  You will know you are in the right entrance because there is a sign board that says “cascade falls” . Stay close to the creek bed, when you come to a intersection of the track go right,  staying near the creek.

Have You Been To Cascade Waterfall?

Would recommend it for a family fun filled day, and would gladly go back :)

Cheers

What a posting tear you’ve been on! You go girl! David “looks” like he has a little bit more trepidation about the adventure than the boys do ha,ha! Lisa, you should Pin and Stumble that picture “This Little Guy Loves The Rainforest”. That is amazingly awesome! This all looks like it’s out of some surreal movie. Xxx’s to you all of you! :)

      Hi Mike,
gosh I so had forgotten Pinterest! Done :)

Actually David did really well because he helped me climb up the steep parts. We are having so much fun exploring more of the area, and finding lots of gorgeous waterfalls.

Phoenix would so love the walks :)

      Cheers
