This afternoon I decided instead of giving into my exhaustion, instead of crawling into bed after two nights of study that going for a walk at Cotton Tree Beach {and seeing the Sunset} would be more fun.
And then we had to go back again later on tonight – more about that reason soon.
Two nights of crawling into bed at 1.00am one morning, and the other morning 2.00am is not my idea of fun, but one must do what they can when their is a deadline. I have started something, can’t share exactly what as yet but super excited cause I have completed Subject 2 and passed the test. Now onto Subject 3 and will have that finished soon – lots more studying ahead but it will be so worth it.
We love the beach – the water, seeing the sun going down, walking, chasing, having fun – all of us enjoyed the afternoon. And the sun – I haven’t seen so many colours in the sky before, stunning. Cotton Tree is such a pretty location. With “Raw Food” stores, clothes stores, caravan park on the beach, library and the Surf Club near by there is so much to see and do.
I know it seems like I have only one son….its only cause Kyle photo bombs my pictures with his crazy fun ideas all of the time! I really do have more sons. Mostly they don’t like to be in photos.
Cameron is almost to that age where he is not sure if he likes photos anymore, and not sure if he want’s to be online. I am not keen on those stages but I respect my sons wishes.
We walked for about an hour on the Beach, watching the sun going down. Watching Cotton Tree Beach Sunset on one side – bright red – and the other side of the beach the sky was almost pink. It was so magical.
But soon we had to rush back to do dinner, and to see if David needed picking up. To discover that I had dropped my phone on the Beach – not sure where or when.
I raced to David’s work and grabbed his phone. Went back to the Beach and went searching. With Cameron at home cooking dinner, David at Work, Kyle and I used torches – walking and walking while I called my phone. I was so sick in the belly thinking it was lost forever.
When Kyle saw something “Red” flashing in the sand ahead – and he was like “Mum ring it again, that’s your phone I know it is” – so I kept calling it as Kyle walked towards the “red” flash and there was my phone. It was almost a goner cause the tide was coming in.
I think that I was almost laughing/crying with over joy. And now I am owe him an Ice-Cream cone, the type where he can chose his own flavours. Its the least I can do after making him walk twice on the beach in one day {it was about an hour walk each time!} and after all he found it!
Have You Ever Lost Your Phone?
If so did you ever find it?
What about those magical sunsets…..stunning.
Cheers
Lisa
