On our way out of town {after our Free Camping Weekend} we stopped in to the Cowra Japaense Gardens. Where I had a chance to de-stress, a mini-melt down {broken heart} from events over the weekend, and was able to soak up the peaceful gardens.
Not going into to much detail to protect my family but lets just say the weekend did not go to plan – it was meant to be a weekend of fun times but with so many men in one family, so many tempers and so many hormones it was bound to be explosive. Guess I had my hopes up too high – and I was surely in for a disappointment.
All I can say is that I was broken a little bit that weekend, and I am not sure that I will be the same.
So if you are ever in Cowra then I highly recommend the Japanese Gardens for a tranquil place where you can a mini-break down but still come away with feeling peace within. Still enjoy the gardens, the beauty of the trees, the amazing flowers and absorb the feeling of peace from each waterfall. Actually I am glad we stopped there before a journey back to our Motorhome.

Cowra Japanese Gardens ::
Yes Cameron was reading a book when we first got there, but was soon off exploring and feeding the really BIG goldfish in the main pond.
This bird sat so very still for so very long, it was incredible so still it sat on the rock, almost like it was a statue. At first I wasn’t sure it was alive, but then I saw it move its head and its wings! Such a beautiful wild moment in time.
Have You Ever Been To Cowra Japanese Gardens?

Thanking you – it was a wonderful place to sit and relax. The waterfalls were incredible 😉
Without going in to my own details the men in our family can get a little heated at times. They seem to make up but its us women that carry the burden. I really feel for you. The garden look lovely for a little timeout and meditation.

I am so very glad that you have shared your own family issues…only because I am not allow in this crazy world of men.
And I am also thinking of you – its not easy watching the way men explode and then we are expected to carry on normally.
The garden was a perfect place for me to de-stress….But I am not sure I will ever be the same again. It broke my heart that weekend, and it will mend but it will be changed.
Its weird how men can fight it out but us women do carry the burden, sending you love as well xxx
A garden full of beautiful works of art, beautiful photos!
Spot on Leovi, It sure is a beautiful work of art 🙂
Wow what a stunningly beautiful place! I love visiting gardens (I think it’s because I’m such a terrible gardener myself!!).

Yeah Gardens are so beautiful – one thing that I do miss is a garden bed – I used to have lots of gorgeous Roses and I sure miss not growing them!
