After walking back from the Waterfall at Tamborine National Park – we were all hot and very sweaty, and very hungry! We had a watermelon and an idea of where we wanted to head to, I programmed the GPS which directed us all to Darlington Parklands in Yarrabilba – one very cool playground!
Darlington Parklands in Yarrabilba ::
It was that hot all of the parents enjoyed the water play as much as the Children did!
Kyle and our friends Son loved playing Basketball with another Family – Kyle had his Xmas Present {our second son gave him a Basketball} with him. I must say that our Friends Son is a natural talent at Basketball – he killed the game!
The playground has great facilities – Toilets, Bins, BBQ’s, Picnic Tables, different areas to Play/Cool Down. The playground is one that I would visit again! I have said we could easily travel around Australia from Playground to Playground and I so reckon we could, especially when they have great Toilet facilities!
The only issue I had that day was I was the only Adult with one of my sons, and three children from our Friends Family and I could only have eyes in some many directions, and yes I did lose sight of one of the girls….panic time!! We all searched and found her in the toilets – never ever been so grateful to discover where a Child had disappeared to!
Love the shade, love the water, love that all age groups are catered for. It was a great day out.
Have You Got A Great Local Playground?
Share it below, we love to visit it!
