You know that following dreams is what I am all about….and what I need to get back on track with! Its been a dream of mine for some time to show our boys a bit of magic, and to share a bit of my favorite Disney Characters with them.
Disney On Ice Treasure Trove ::
When I heard that they were coming to Wollongong Entertainment Centre {WEC} it was perfect timing. Its like we are here in the area for a reason…and those reason keep coming in the form of meeting other liked minded homeschoolers, Birthday Parties and great places to explore.
At first I thought that I would be taking both the boys while David was at work, but actually he let me know that he wanted to go with us because he wanted to see the smiles on his boys faces….and they were smiling big time – from ear to ear especially when “Woody” came out with the “Toy Soldiers” and then when “Peter Pan” made his great entrance.
The show is suitable for all ages – from little kids to bigger kids ~ to even Adults.
The Show ::
The skill of those skaters…..they have skaters that could easily win the Gold Medals at the Olympics.
And the Story Line – the music, the way they mimic along to the songs, the way they interact with each makes you believe that you are part of the Story Line.
We all came out of the Disney on Ice Treasure Trove with “Our Favorites” from the show. And we all loved the experience, actually we would go again if the timing was ever right.
The Costumes…..gosh how talented the costume designers must be! Actually from the setting up of the ice, to the lights, to the props, to the story line, to the dancers/skaters, to the directors….every single person makes the Disney on Ice Treasure Trove a show that everyone will enjoy no matter what age.
Very grateful that we are still here in Wollongong to be able to take our boys for this experience.

Grace recently posted..FYBF – The Art of Happiness Edition
Grace, your boys would love Disney on Ice…actually I reckon you and Hubby would love it just as much 🙂
We went today in Newcastle and LOVED it! Mr 11 ‘s favourite was the Lion King, he said he nearly had a tear in his eyes, it was so beautiful. Of course, that was one of the parts I cried in. The music, the costumes, the skating, just gorgeous. And Miss 6 liked the finale the best, as she got to see all the Princesses in their beautiful dresses and costumes all together. I loved watching her face during the show as each act came out & she recognised them. I liked the costumes best, and thought the buffalo stampede in the Lion King was particularly well done. LOVE LOVE LOVE Disney productions. I’ve remember taking Mr now 18 when he was 6 and I was heavily pregnant with Mr now 11. That would be 2002. Have been going on and off ever since. Always worth the money!
