Easter Day we celebrated with what Kyle wanted to do. He asked the family to go to his favorite fishing spot to have a picnic. Because we were super busy with projects in our motorhome I suggested we go for morning tea, and that way we could head back to the Motorhome for David to complete the repairs he was carrying out on the flooring.
Smiths Crossing – which used to have a bridge going across until the floods washed it away, and the council is not prepared to fix it – is where Kyle loves to go for a spot of fishing. Not sure why though cause all he gets is cat fish!
Easter Day With Family 2017
This one was for his Grandma – he made them all by himself and chose the chocolates that he wanted to put in there! He was super sweet, sitting down all day to make these sweet bunny baskets out of cardboard, and designing them all by himself – so very clever.
Even though our boys couldn’t have chocolate like these ones, Kyle still wanted to gift his grandparents Easter Eggs!
He loves fishing, but poor kid never catches any fish! Only baby ones or cat fish 🙂
Funny enough Beauty is now scared of the car – well she has always been scared of the car, but this time Kyle had to pick her up and put her in the car so we could leave each time! Normally we can coach her into our Campervan.
Kyle loves Smiths Crossing – every time we go there we can see how much it floods as the trees are full of the stuff that is swept down the river.
Easter Day with Family 2017 was not really with family as our older boys were not here, but it was spent with loved ones that we are grateful that we could spend time with because life is so very short.
Kyle enjoyed the Easter Hunt in the Morning – Cameron thinks he is too old for Easter Hunts, but I reckon you are never too old for having fun! But they had to trade in the eggs they found for safer chocolate that they both could eat.
All I wanted was Hot Cross Buns {toasted} but it didn’t work out that way, never mind, maybe next year!
How Was Your Easter 2017 Spent?
Cheers
Lisa
