If you know us at all you will know that I only cook because I have to, and David cooks because he loves to! He is the one who can whip up a meal less than no time. Something that looks good, taste good and is so healthy.
When Jan from Budget Travel Talk tagged us for the Series “Budget Travel Meal Shared” I thought it would be good to ask David to search for a NEW dish to serve our family and share with you all. After all I was very occupied with Fifty Shades Trilogy and had to finish the last book before I could return back down to earth. If you have read the “Fifty Shades” three books you will know where I am coming from. If you havent then you so need to get your hands on a copy asap.
Man does those books expand your mind to what really could happen in the bedroom playroom if there was no kids in the family/and a bedroom door in our Motorhome!
Where was I….oh yes back to Fifty Shades of Cooking. I reckon that David could easily whip up fifty meals on his choofer. Our all time favorite is “Chicken Fettucine” – we have it at least once a week. No longer can it be cooked inside, it needs the smell/taste of the wood (from the Choofer) to make it David’s trade mark dish.
Fifty Shades of Hoisin Chicken Stir Fry
David decided to do his research and came up with Hoisin Chicken Stir-Fry. It not only looks good, its healthy for you and you will be addicted to the dish in no time. While we travel around Australia, we are more than happy to cook you a meal or two on the Choofer – as long as you have room for our Motorhome at your place!!!
And no I am so NOT sharing my books…Fifty Shades of Grey, Fifty Shades Darker, and Fifty Shades Freed. Even David hasn’t had a chance to read the books because they are under my pillow for safe keeping future references when I have time to re-read them!
How To Be Sexy In The Kitchen
No idea how to be sexy in the kitchen without burning parts of your body Body Hair! But do know that here is some Food Porn Pictures that will make your mouth water….

How To Join The Game
“Sharing experiences and food, making memories with friends and family old and new – everyone has a story like this to tell and I want to hear them all.
It could be a family meal around a camp fire – travellers pooling resources in a hostel kitchen – cooking a simple dish out of nothing – friends making travel plans and pizzas at home – or learning to cook something from another culture. Those stories and recipes really get my budget travel juices flowing” ~ From Budget Travel Talk.

New Life on the Road
Lisa I loved your ‘Fifty Shades of Cooking’ post. I’m going to have to try this recipe out, only problem is I don’t have a choofer so will have to do it on the gas 🙁
Thanks for sharing with us all.

Your Welcome Jenny – we will have to get David to cook it for you one day somewhere around Australia! Even on the Gas Top it would still taste yummy! I cant wait to try it again 🙂

Hey David and Lisa – Big thanks to David for cooking with three day old beard and Flanny shirt – I am proud to have the Aussie flavour stamped on the series. Big thanks to you Lisa for dragging yourself away from 50 shades (I am going out today to buy my own), and preparing this post. That meal does look delicious – your meals always look healthy but inviting!
Jan
Thanks Jan – you will enjoy the books 🙂
I laughed at this post, having just watched my wife read all three books during which time she was physically present in our house but her mind was obviously a million miles away. With Sebastian. In Seattle or somewhere nearby. Quite funny. Love the Fifty Shades recipe 😉

Hi Russell,
Yeah I so get what your wife was doing….I was totally gone in our house! I love all three books, and could easily turn off from everything to re-read them all over again.
Glad you enjoyed the Recipe!
Cheers
