Fifty Shades of Grey Helps Marriages

There is a BIG debate on about Fifty Shades of Grey helping Marriages. Well I am not sure if its a BIG debate, but it has come up in conversation in our Motorhome.

I LOVE Fifty Shades of Grey three books. Book one is a bit slow to get into the great story line, but Book 2 and Book 3 is my all time favorite fantasy world.

I even have the books hidden under my pillow on my bed….David took one to work one night when he was doing night shift. He didnt even tell me cause my books are too precious for any one to be touching them.

Now lets get one thing clear here – I am NOT into the kinky side of the book. Well maybe some of it. But I am into the fantasy lifestyle….gee who wouldn’t be. She is one lucky lady – the guy loves her. Adores her.

Helping spice up marriages

Reading Fifty Shades of Grey In Bed ~ Great for sweet dreams!

Reading and Re-Reading Fifty Shades of Grey ~

Perfect Bedtime Stories 🙂

Cares for her beyond what most Hubbies do – and they are loaded. He shows her in so many different ways that he does love her….and its not by just saying the words. His actions speak louder than any words.

Yep its a fantasy lifestyle that only one can dream about. And the sex…well that sounds magical. Especially for a Mum who doesn’t have a bedroom door, and four of her five kids living with her.

Do you know how many times kids can interrupt one couple when they are so needing alone time? Seriously…its like a built in radar. You know when your kids where little, and fast asleep so you thought you would put the kettle on for a cuppa. Only to have them wake up at that point in time when you go to sit down for five minutes?

Well that is what its like around here….there is no quiet alone time. And yep when you read Fifty Shades before bedtime the dreams at night are sweet.

Debate About Fifty Shades

Some say that its good for ones marriage cause it spices up the bedroom and the night time activities. Even some marriages are experimenting more than they used to cause they are trying out the fantasies in the book.

Others are saying that Marriages are being affected in a bad way ~ the rate of divorces are climbing cause partners are no longer happy with the statues of their stale marriage. Or even because they want to try out the kinky scenes from the book but there partners are not keen to try the sex scenes.

Now who in their right mind would be saying “NOPE, not trying that one. Sorry babe but you are not going to get that move from me”???

Yet that is what is happening.

Higher Divorce Rate

There is a higher case of wanting more from the marriage, and an increase for divorces because of Fifty Shades of Grey, Fifty Shades of Darker and Fifty Shades Freed.

Which I think is a real shame….cause the book should be helping marriages/couples to form a tighter relationship, to grow closer together and to thrive. And to get out of their comfort zone…sure is helping our marriage to be stronger!

After all life is more interesting when the marriage life is spiced up.

I reckon that Fifty Shades of Grey helps marriages ~ but again that is really up to each individual and to what you want from your marriage. From our experience its a good thing!

Now to find a door – locked room – hotel room – house…or even to have a weekend without kids.

One Can Dream Cant They?

Have You Read Fifty Shades of Grey?

Hi Lisa, I think 50 Shades is a great starting point to get couples rethinking their boundaries. I was different to you – I liked the first book best and then it became a bit ho hum I thought, although I kept on reading it to see what happened in the end!
