We decided to pay the small fee to see the Future Park – Learn and Play – At the Powerhouse Museum. I wasn’t going to but we don’t know when we will back down in Sydney and Kyle really enjoyed himself so I am glad we did pay the extra.
The Powerhouse Museum is free entry for kids – there are three floors of displays so there is a lot to see and do.
Future Park Learn And Play –
Where Kyle was able to make a Mini figure of himself, scan it into the computer and watch it up on the wall. It sure looked like Kyle, and it moved fast 🙂
Kyle loved watching his figure come alive, and dance over the screen. His hair was spot on, ginger and messy!
Touching the Screen will help the little person come alive, and will give you a jump and a high five. Kyle loved every moment, and he wasn’t the only kid that loved it – many kids were thrilled when they saw their drawing come alive!
This truck was coloured in, then scanned and put into the interaction display up on the wall. Also scanned and turned into a 3D design – which he bought home to complete.
For a kid that doesn’t like to draw he did well to sit there and create two figures, and one truck!
His favorite part of the day was creating his character that looked just like him!
If you have kids and you are around the Sydney area then I highly recommend the Future Park at the Powerhouse Museum as a fun filled day out!
Also highly recommend the Sunday Fun Day Trains Buses Ferries – on the Sunday they have a family fun day where you can ride all of the transport for unlimited amount of times for a set fee of $2.60!! Best way to travel with kids 🙂
Have You Been To The Future Park?
Cheers
