Over the weekend we got to celebrate our son’s Cameron 13th Birthday….how did the years go by so very fast? We now have another teenager in the mix of our boys, smelly emotional roller coasting times ahead.
Happy 13th Birthday Cameron
Every year our boys get to pick what they would like for their Birthday Dinner and Birthday Cake – every year Cameron wants Lasagna. Now that we are all grain and sugar free this year birthday dinner was going to be a challenge so David and I made the decision to forget our eating style and go with the flow. Big mistake ~ we both woke up the next day with headaches 🙂
Birthday Dinner ::
Our Second Son was down for the weekend and he made this yummy salad to go with our Lasagna Dinner, and a wonderful salad dressing, it was the best ever!
Kyle has the best dress sense ever, he so should be a model on the Run Ways! He dressed for Cameron’s 13th Birthday Celebrations, and he was proud of the way he looked.
Birthday Cake ::
We did have a bit of sugar in the Orange and Almond Meal Birthday Cake – it was so very worth it, by far the best Birthday Cake we have ever had!!! Next time David is going to experiment with adding another ingredient instead of sugar so that it keeps with our no grain/no sugar way of life.
Not sure what they were talking about while looking at the cake but I do love this Picture, its when they are not aware of the Camera that I love to capture their photos.
Happy 13th Birthday Cameron, sure hope the day was as special as you are.
We are so very lucky to have Cameron, he was born by emergency C-Section and was without oxygen for some time, his cord was coming out first. Looking back on that day still brings tears to my eyes…I have shared his Birth Story about three years ago ~ Happy 10th Birthday To Our Young Man
Gosh the years go by far too fast, wished I could freeze time!!
Birthday Gift ::
It only took Cameron 3 Days to finish the Biggles WWII Collection – now he wants the rest of the books that are in the series! It has 643 Pages in the book and its finished already!!!
Birthday Sunset ::
We sat outside on Saturday night – far too warm to sit inside – and watched the Sun going down. It was such a perfect way to end such a busy day, and a great evening to celebrate Cameron’s 13th Birthday.
It was so very good to have our second son down with us for the weekend, so very good to celebrate with four of our five boys ~ wished we had our oldest with us but he is safe out at sea – we are now emailing back and forth to stay in touch cause the ship does not have Wifi connection and he is doing really well.
I still can’t believe that Cameron is 13 – slow down those years and I am so going to celebrate every moment of having him around cause life is so very precious.
Happy 13th Birthday Cameron ~
May your teenage years be full of fun 🙂
We love you so very much.
Thanking you all for his Birthday wishes xxx
Cheers
Lisa

Happy Birthday Cameron
Happy belated Birthday, Cameron! Lordy seeing those boys getting older before my eyes here on the blog over the past year or so now. And how come I wasn’t invited? I love lasagna! What a great celebration, Lisa 🙂
