We were offline for the Easter Break. Only because we had to be at David’s Family Farm and there is hardly any internet out there, its so very slow that I could walk faster and I realised that we had way too much to do for the weekend to worry about trying to get online.
And to be honest I really “liked” the offline time. It gave me a sense of freedom, and a sense of reconnecting with family members.
We would like to say Happy Easter From Us To You all, hope the Easter Bunny could find you no matter where you all were.
As soon as we arrived Kyle set up his own Tent, and grabbed his air mattress and sleeping bag. He couldn’t wait to “sleep out in the open air”. He is our little free spirited child and nothing will ever stop him from being outside!
David was given this Fly Screen {thanks Geoff and Shelley} and he worked out how to tie it down so that the window could be kept opened but the mozzies couldn’t get in!
We cut down, cut up and cut back trees, palm trees and then whipper snipped as much as possible, mowing as many areas as we could. There is still a huge amount of work that needs to be done, but we only had the three days so we will have to go back another time. Its about 15 acres of work waiting for us all.
And that is one of the reasons why we are on the Sunshine Coast, its closer to David’s Parents who need us as much as possible to help out. We really want our Motorhome up here so that we can either leave it at their place or have it with us here – we miss the freedom it gives us.
Hope your Easter was a good one, we wish you all the best.
Still can’t believe that last year we were camping out at Hill End and we had our second son with us for that magical weekend. Gosh a lot of travelling has gone down since then.
We worked out our Campervan has travelled over 15,000 k’s since December – we sure have moved fast!
What Did You Do For Easter?
Happy Easter From Us To You.
Cheers
