Today was Fathers Day in Australia. And our first Fathers Day with only two of our sons, it was Different But Nice at the same time. David got up early and was able to sit outside reading his Newspaper, something he does not do often yet loves.
Then we got him a Coffee with two pieces of Ozimite {like Vegemite} toast. He then prepared the mixture for Hot Cakes, which I cooked up – he knows the recipe of by heart.
So he got to sit outside for the morning, relaxing and enjoying some of “His Time” which for him is a rare moment!
David Was Reading The Paper Outside ~
Peacefully until Boy Boys Woke Up!
Cameron and Kyle went into K-mart yesterday and they both picked out two t-shirts each for David, 1 book and 1 DVD….two boys from the same family yet each with different ideas of what’s a “Great Gift”
Cameron Picked out these ::
One of the T-Shirts ~
that Cameron Thought David Might Like!
Cameron Thought David Would LOVE This ~
And after reading the back Cameron is also Keen to Read it 🙂
And I picked out this great T-Shirt ::
Kyle being Kyle decided that Fathers Day should be a time where “Dad Spends Time With Me“…..
Reading A Book That He Picked Out ::
Kyle decided then and there that he loves it when “Dad Reads to me” and wanted a new book to give to Dad so that he can read to him at night time….how can you say no to that logic?
And then he choose this DVD ::
Yes Kyle Chose A Kids DVD ~
Again with the same Logic….
that “Daddy Can Watch it With Me” – gosh Kyle you are too cute
Happy Fathers Day to all of the Dads out there.
Hope your day is filled with lots of love, laughter and quality family time.

Haha! Love it! Especially the “Family ATM” and “Dad’s Taxi Service” t-shirts. And the one you picked out is very edgy!
