The word to use today is “Earth” which got me to thinking!! My late Grandma was a huge advocate for the “Green Tree Movement”. She was part of so many clubs, and organisations that took a stand against the forest being cut down, and wanted to save the “World” in so many different ways! It was her mission in life to save the planet and make “Earth” a better place for her Grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She loved supporting any good causes that were either “Different” or had a lot of “political views”!!
Heaven on Earth
The word “Earth” gave me a lot to think about…we are so lucky to be living in Australia! We really do have Heaven on Earth – there are so many great places in Australia!
Sharing our love of Australia with all of the places that take my breath away and make it seem like we are living in heaven, but we are really living here on Earth….with photos!
The view from Mt Ngungun – looking over Glasshouse Mountains
On top of the world! Mt Beerburrum
Looking up at Mt Ngungun – We lived down the road from this in 2010 – we used to climb this!

Please dont ask me to decide which photo/place I really like or love because there is so many places that I could easily say is Heaven on Earth!
Do You Have A Special Place That You Like To Call Heaven on Earth?
Cheers

Starting November 1, we’re launching a project called 30 Days of Indie Travel. We’re inviting bloggers from around the world (including you!) to join us in a daily blogging effort reflecting on our past travel experiences. Each day, we’ll post a new prompt on BootsnAll articles. Bloggers can follow the prompts as strictly or loosely as they like, interpreting them in various ways and responding via text, photos or video posted on their own blogs.
Your Grandma sounds like an amazing woman! The world truly is a wonderful place, Australia especially (I might be biased).

Hi Lisa,
Your right Australia is such a wonderful place to live, the many different landscapes, with such a diverse range of animals, birds and plants. Thanks for sharing your slice of paradise.
Its no wonder they call Australia the “lucky country”.

Hi Lina,
Thank you for stopping at “Heaven on earth” – I love sharing all of our wonderful places that we have been to 🙂
My late Grandma was the best! She did so much for me, and I never got to say “thanks” – I love the memories of the times we got to spend with each other.
So glad that I made your day!
Cheers

I think ‘heaven on earth’ is a place that’s tied to an emotional place in your heart. I really like visiting places that I group up and enjoyed such as the Mornington Peninsula in Victoria. It is pretty there, but not exceptionally pretty. But my emotional attachment gives it special significance.

Hi Lisa,
Great pictures you got there. So lucky you are able to experience it first hand. I’m sure it looks even better than the pictures standing there and looking with your own eyes. Maybe one day I can do that :). Thank you!
Kind regards,
Wilson
