I so wished I had it together like my seven year old does. His Only Seven Yet He Knows what he wants to be. Kyle was not a planned baby (all of our babies were planned but he was our gorgeous surprise) and I was actually not sure how I was going to handle another baby…but he was meant to be.
He Has A Saying ::
He walks around saying “Mum, I was born Ready” – so very true….he was walking at 7 months of age and he has had many moments where I so thank god he has a good guardian angel – we have “Lost” him so many times when out n about yet still manage to find him!!
The other day I was driving and he was in the back of the car. He said to me “Mum, when I grow up I want to be a Pippy” – I was like…”Mmmm, not sure what a pippy is but OK”.
Cameron (who was next to me) says “Mum, he means he wants to be a Hippy” – Cameron seems to know what Kyle is talking about all of the time!
I was nodding my head and was like “Yep, I so can see you as a hippy when you grow up, driving one of those hippy campers, with a surf board on top and a dog in the back”
You see he has always wanted to try surfing – and has always wanted a surf board…..like forever he has talked about it. And he loves Animals – mind you its only recently that he has liked Dogs (he likes little ones, but the bigger dogs normally scare him).
So yesterday he took his Christmas money to the Shops and he purchased his own Surf Board (see the picture on facebook)- its only a foam Surf Board but its the first step in the right direction!
Trying It Out
The surf around us is a bit too big at the moment, there are warnings out not to go surfing but that was not going to stop him. So today David took him to a little Beach Pool so that he could try it out and have fun….
- He wants to be a hippy surfer
I love how he knows what he wants to do!
I so wished I knew what I wanted from life…I am nearly 40 and I still don’t have a clue 
The look says it all 
He was so fully into the surfing!
Riding the Waves..even though there isn’t any!
Yeah he was born to surf!
He has so much passion and loves living life. Sure can learn a lot from this gorgeous kid.
Kyle Wood has a life planned, and with his red hair he will achieve whatever he sets his heart on.
He even walks around saying “Surf’s Up Dude” – His Only Seven Yet He Knows.

Lovely young lad. If you are able to spare the time, why not see if he is interested in joining “Little Nippers” since you are based here for a year anyway. He will make friends with others who love the surf too! (As far as I know they meet up every Sunday mornings!)
