The other day I was amazed to get the comment How Can I Blog And Travel? Well its easy – I love talking, I love writing and I love Travelling so why not combine all three? I want to connect with other like minded people, people from places like Italy, Thailand, America, Tasmania, England, France and even in Australia!
What about how to make Money Online with your Blog. Here are 7 Ways To Earn Money While Traveling.
How Can I Blog And Travel?
Easily! I blog after we have been out and about. I blog to the wee hours of the morning.
If you have a blog I am sure you do the same! I blog when my boys are having quiet time after we have been out and about. Here is an example of us travelling to a farmers market the other day on the Sunshine Coast…

Raw Food Organic Chocolate Slice
Going to The Beaches
We have even been to the Beaches at the Sunshine Coast! Yes I do go out and about with our five boys, and I can blog about it! There is no way that our boys would miss out on travelling – that is the whole idea of this blog! The whole idea of my family life! We want a different lifestyle and experiences for our boys that they will remember for ever!
Cameron at the Beach – after his brothers covered him with sand!
Meeting Friends for a BBQ Lunch
Yep we even love getting out and about and meeting friends for a BBQ Lunch. Friends that we would never have meet if we were not travelling and living in our motorhome 🙂
Having Friends Come to Us
The other day we were so lucky we had a bit of Italy come to us, Renovating Italy spent a great day with our family! Actually our kids got on so well with their kids that I am so looking forward to meeting up with them again soon!

Meeting New Friends – Friends that Will Last a lifetime!
How I Can Blog And Travel Step By Step
- Explore the destination that we are going to
- Take a million and one photos of the destination so that I have memories to look back on one day for our sons and share them all with you
- Have one or two maximum blog posts per week to go live.
- Find a way to promote that blog post – I use and love Pinterest as its a great place for sharing our travel journey.
- Take advantage of the Free Internet at Cafes and or Library at each town we are in. Bunnings also has free WiFi but its a bit slow!
- Ask my family to help out with chores so that I have the time to blog
- Find my passion – its way easier to blog when I can write about traveling which I so love.
- Write a List of Blog posts for the future so that I am able to keep the content up loading to New Life on the Road.
- Have Guest blog posts go live – we love sharing from other bloggers.
- KISS – Keep It Simple Silly. I try to write from the heart and keep it real.
- Do Keyword Research so that the blog post will be found by others searching online for the Best Travel Tips
- With our Motorhome our cleaning is really easy – there isn’t much to do so when I am needing to move from sitting still I can power clean and get back to blogging faster!
- Keep a written diary of where we have been and dates. That way I can work out what to blog about and when.
- Slowly travel. We like to take our time exploring an area. Its the best way to travel and we get to see more and blog about those experiences.
- Live with less to have more. Less spending on stuff so that we can do more experiences
- Go Geocaching all in one location as much as possible. That way we can discover new destinations, find out the area history and blog about our experiences.
- Watch the Sunset and Sunrises – Best time to take Pictures and to be fully in the moment.
- Stay in one location long enough to explore, take memories and then spend the time sitting down to blog about the destination.
That is How I Can Blog And Travel!

Being a hoarder of memories it was inevitable that blogging would find me. It is the perfect mixture of journal, visual diary, movie night, letter writing, sharing and connecting.
I have been telling everyone about our meeting and how I felt as if I’d known you all forever (hubby very miffed as he missed out!). There is almost no way we would have ever connected let alone met up without the joys of blogging. And yes would love to do it again!
The most wonderful thing about the blog part of our adventure to Italy is that I now have readers telling me of their own dreams and how they are re inspired to create and follow them…I know this is a gift that you give people here at New Life on the Road!!
Here’s to living the Dream…
ciao lisa

Hi Lisa
Your experiences are invaluable for other travelling families and it is a great way to connect with each other. Your children will be making new friends living in different places and think of the fantastic education they are receiving as you travel Australia.
