Did you know 62 days 13 hours 8 minutes and 9 seconds until Christmas (well there was over at Christmas countdown while I was writing this!). OH my gosh I havent even thought about buying anything for Christmas nor do we know where we are going to be for the day. We will be gone from Mackay but that is as much as I know. This is going to be our Second Christmas in our Motorhome!
Its Beginning To Look Like Christmas
In every store. The decorations are up and the festival period has started. For us the novelty of Xmas is not what it used to be – I remember as a kid being so excited about Santa coming and opening up all of our presents. Then I grew up, and realised that giving was even better! I love giving and seeing the person’s excited face.
Its Beginning To Look Like Christmas in all of the big stores, gee I swear they get ready earlier ever year! So what is Xmas Like in Australia? Well its hot! And too much food is cooked 🙂
Hey did you know that some cultures actually open up Christmas Presents in another room and then come back to the person to say thanking you? I am not sure why that is their tradition but I have heard about it!
Christmas Decorations
We have the most amazing Christmas Tree in our Shipping Container. Its magical. David likes real live trees, but seen as how I am the cleaner in our family, I prefer trees that stay in tact! So a few years back I splurged on the biggest tree in K-mart (or was it Big W?) and found one that I really liked. Then we purchased all these different decorations to go on the tree. Now they are sitting in a box.
This ir our magical Christmas Tree ~
the picture so does not do it justice!
Yet our boys still love the idea of Christmas Decorations. The idea for this year is to let Santa Claus find us through Solar Xmas Lights…..
With living in a Motorhome Solar Power rocks!
The Reindeer is Flatly Packed~
So easy to put together!
His Smile Lights Up Our World ~
Love how much he loves this Reindeer!
I have tried to take a photo of when its lit up at night-time! And it sure does look so gorgeous – yet our camera can’t seem to capture the feeling of looking at the lights!
We have it at the front of our motorhome so that when our Boys go to the toilet blocks (at night-time) they can find their way back to our front door easily!
We Love Christmas Solar Lights. Where did we get the Reindeer from? It was from oo.com.au – the joy of shopping online! After our Motorhome is painted we are thinking about getting these ones – 100 White Solar Straight Xmas Lights do you think that they will look good on our Motorhome? And which side should we put them on?
What Is Your Favorite Christmas Decorations?
Cheers
Lisa

It’s also interesting that solar lights work because of the photovoltaic effect. The most important part of a solar light is the photovoltaic or solar cell. The solar cell is the part that converts sunlight into direct electrical current. And it certainly eco-friendly! 🙂
