Hey Lisa – wow you are going to be busy! Congratulations to Hayden on achieving his goal of acceptance into the Navy.
It is a credit to you that he is prepared to accept the discipline that will be necessary in the armed service – not many young people his age are happy to knuckle down like that to achieve their career choices. (How many actually know what career they want at that age??)
Dressing for success and his desired career has certainly paid off big time for Hayden.
Cherish every moment you have with him before he heads off to face the world as an adult!

Hi Jenny,
Thank you so much for your kind words – will pass them onto Hayden. He is excited and he is a bit scared. There is now so much paper work to get finished before the end of this week. Plus we need to work out what he is going to take with him, and what he needs to store. I think that is going to be the challenging part, because he cant actually have any of his personal things with him – they are taking everything off him that he has so that they can issue him with Navy Uniform!
After three weeks (of his training) he will have weekends where he can access everything that he personally owns.
Cheers

Hi Lisa
What wonderful news Hayden being accepted into the Navy, congratulations to Hayden what an achievement. You all have such a busy week, enjoy.
Hi Kerry,
Its going to by too fast, and with a lot of last minute things left to do. We didnt expect it to be this quick, but we are happy that he gets to live his dream.
Thank you for the kind support.

Hi,
Congratulations to Hayden. It is no mean feat to be accepted by the navy these days. No longer do the navy accept people just to fill the numbers. There are certain qualities they look to in every aspiring sea person. The navy has become a place where careers are forged and a level of intelligence is a prime requisite.
Again wishing him and your family well.

Hello John,
Thank you for your kind words. He is super excited, and a bit scared. He is snowed under with paper work at the moment, and then its trying to get his personal things in order before he heads off. He has a lot of training ahead of him, but he will thrive because he loves being active. He did so well with the Army Cadets and he is going to love the navy structure.
Cheers
