When we went to Maryborough for Cameron’s Airforce Cadets Final Parade we spent time at the Maryborough Bond Store, afterwards we headed to the building next door, not sure what it was called, but it was a “Art Display” and it was so much fun!
David, Kyle and I enjoyed every minute of walking through the Art Display {it was a story/art display that you can take part in!}
The cat sleeping in the basket is made out of paper!!
The best part of the Art Display was writing a letter, there was pieces of paper with a few lines and then you got to finish it off! All three of us had a go and it was so much fun 🙂
I so got Kyle with this cake, I asked him if he wanted a “Slice of Cake” even though the Mice ate a bit…he was like “Yes” then had a better look and realised it was fake!
The whole upstairs of the building is full of art, and there is so much to look at, and so much to see! And so much to read, and you will want to spend ages there.
The Art display is part of the “Maryborough Bond Store” ticket, and the friendly staff will tell you about this Art Display, and this story, make sure you take time to check it all out – we were there for over an hour!
Downstairs is a really cute cafe, which we didn’t stop in at but maybe another time we are down in Maryborough?
I sat and read the whole story, and it was fascinating – I am not sure if it was real? But it feels like it! And it makes you “look” at the world differently.
