After we left the Art Display building {the one next to the Maryborough Bond Store} we headed over to the Maryborough Military and Colonial Museum! For me I wasn’t that interested in the museum but David and Kyle was loving every minute of every display.
I find it hard to concentrate on one thing when there is too much in a room, and soon as I walked in to the Maryborough Military and Colonial Museum I felt very much like it was going to make me feel to constricted, and I was feeling very pressured to try and take in too much at once.
But David was calm enough to walk Kyle through there and explain the displays along the way.
I actually couldn’t look at these Navy Ships without getting upset, it would have been so scary for all those on board those ships while they were been attacked.
We could have spent more time in the Museum but it was getting late and we were all so very hungry, Actually I felt like there was too much too look at and I felt a bit overwhelmed by it all, I am not able to walk into a room and take it all in when there is too much to look at! But I reckon if you lived in Maryborough and you were homeschooling, then a yearly pass to all three Museums would make sense!
We loved our short time in Maryborough – we think its a great country town with so much to see and do!
If we are ever back down that way we can’t wait to check out more things!
Have You Been To The Maryborough Military and Colonial Museum?
Cheers
