I still can’t believe that its Xmas Day, and to be honest it doesn’t feel like Christmas at all. Even leading up to Xmas I didn’t feel the spirit and only finished shopping yesterday. I guess it was cause of our mad dash run to get to our location!
But I wanted only one thing today, and that was to spend time with my family.
To spend good quality fun time with lots of memories created for years to come – I didn’t want any expensive gifts, and I didn’t want anything wrapped under the tree. Cause what I want you can’t buy…..I wanted my boys with me.
And I got four out of five of them here, with a phone call from our oldest. My Xmas wish came true.
Merry Christmas To You All – Hope your day was filled with too much yummy food, great times together, creating memories, and filled with lots of laughter.
This year we are so very grateful for our New Life on the Road Blog – its because of this blog that we managed to have Xmas, we were so very grateful to those that take time to read here, you made giving gifts to our boys possible.
With this blog we got to see our boys smile.
And for that I can’t say Thank You enough to our wonderful readers, you are making our dreams come true, and making our day special. With our blog we were able to make Xmas a bit more special today! {our sponsors support made our Xmas Possible!}
David Cooked Our Food ::
We had Greek Salad, Noodle Salad, Potato Salad, Caesar Salad, Turkey, Ham, Pork, Punch to drink and after wards for dessert was Pumpkin Pie and/or Christmas Pudding….yeah we don’t need dinner tonight!
After Lunch we opened up our gifts. I didn’t want anything…..you can’t buy what I want, time with my boys! But I will take this Gift – Kyle with a Ribbon on his nose.
After they played with their Helicopters….to they were almost flat, they decided to jump into the pool and use their pool toys!
We have access to a swimming pool, which is what we need cause its so very hot here! And we have been in it heaps since we got here – actually its amost the first time we have been in a pool since we left Queensland cause in New South Wales we went to the beach nearly all of the time.
After The Pool it was back to the Remote Controlled Helicopters – so glad we have access to a big paddock for them to fly them in!!
Kyle Loved flying his….even flying almost into Nicholas who was able to catch it!!!
While we driving {far too quickly} from Sydney to Queensland we stopped along the way to drop into the Macadamia Castle for Breakfast…where I broke our rules regards buying a Gift for David. Nicholas, Cameron and Kyle bought David this wonderful mug {oh okay it was my idea!!!}
