Yippee! One weekend of not having our Motorhome, and very fortunate to have use of bedrooms to sleep in, its all finished. Our Motorhome is now painted. And it looks a million dollars.
From undercoat ::
To Grey Colour ::
To White Colour ::
And to now its finished ::
The wheels have been taken off. The rims are getting painted white, and the tyres are going to be painted black. The new roof rack it the same grey as the bottom of the motorhome.
I still haven’t seen it with my eyes but I have seen the photos. David is happy with almost all of it. He didn’t get enough time to prep it fully so there is a few spots around the front window sill that looks a bit ruff. But knowing how much of a perfectionist he is, maybe only he would notice it?
We are so very fortunate to be able to paint the Motorhome by a professional, and to have it done in one weekend. We are so very fortunate to have a family let us into their family home. Saying Thankyou so does not seem like enough. But we are very grateful….and will always remember our time here as being an new experience.
We are getting ready to move on, yet we know that if we were ever to come back to Mackay we have a place to stop in at. The Man of the House and the Lady of the house has the biggest kindest heart we have ever come across. Even Zachery is stunned every day by nice and kind the family is to us.
Looking Forward To Having our Motorhome Back.
Will Have A Video Soon Of How It Looks.
So very excited about our new home on wheels.
Cheers

New Life on the Road
It looks fantastic! Can’t wait to see the final product, once everything is back on it’s going to look pretty sharp. Are you ready for all the new found attention it’s going to draw your way while you drive it around?

Hi Steve,

That is so exciting Lisa, I am so happy for you. The bus looks fantastic and you should all be so proud of your achievement. I would say David will definitely be the only one who will notice the little patch around the front window as people will be too busy looking at how good it looks.
Hi Jackie,
I so cant wait to see it this afternoon 🙂
And yeah everyone that has seen it said that it was not that big a deal (around the windows) but knowing David he will find a solution!
It sure looks good in the photos.
Cheers
