Scrubba Wash Bag Company touched base with us and asked if we were interested in doing a Product Review Plus Giveaway. Seen as how I haven’t ever heard of Scrubba Wash Bag before I had to do a little bit research before saying yes. Actually I wished we had one of these bags a few weeks ago when we went camping! Especially with our messy boy – we normally either run out of clothes when camping, or they have to wear dirty clothes to come home.
With a Scrubba Wash Bag we could take minimum clothing and wash as needed. As soon as I read how easy it was too use I was keen to see if both Cameron and Kyle could hand wash some of their clothes….
Six Easy Steps To Wash Your Clothes ::
- Fill
- Roll and Clip
- Deflate
- Rub
- Rinse
- Dry
Mind you it did take us three times of reading the instructions before we got it. And we thought we had to “Rub” for 30 minutes {which to a Kid is a lifetime} but it was 30seconds to 3 minutes.
He filled to the second line – he might have put in a few too many items but he soon realised it when he was up to the 4th step in the process!
After Cameron had a Go it was then Kyle’s Go! He loved that he could “Help Out” by washing his own clothes!
Do you love our washing line? Its tied to our Motorhome mirror and then tied to the Tree! Both boys can’t reach it {they do when on a ladder} so I helped them put the clothes up and they passed me the pegs.
See the lawn mower in the background?
yeah Kyle got it out to make a Smiley Face!
The Scrubba Wash Bag Review Plus Giveaway is an Aussie Trekker with a bright Idea Product! I love how its made from an Aussie “Ash Newland” – with an idea that started because he was traveling overseas. He started to think about how he had to pack lightly but still need enough clothes for Back Packing. And then he was thinking about “The Wash Boards” – they have been around for centuries and he knew they worked well.
So the he came up with the idea – of the Scrubba Wash Bag – something that could be packed up into a Backpack, something that could be then expanded and filled with water/liquid to wash the clothes.
Considering it only takes 2-3 litres of water to wash the clothes and rub for as little as 30 seconds to 3 minutes…its an ideal solution for Echo Families.
Would we take it camping with us? You bet! Actually it will be ideal for something that we are working towards {can’t share that info at the moment!}. Mind you I like the New Scrubba Wash Pack because its like a Back Pack that you could fill, wash then use as a Bag.
Its the smallest washing machine – and packs up to weigh less then an apple!

I would highly take this with us when we go camping, especially we go off line for a weekend of camping at the beach {hint hint David!!!} And I would add a Scrubba Wash Bag to a “Must Have Item” for Free Camping Trips.
Happy Competitions Guys 🙂

I received my scrubba wash bag yesterday so I will try it out at home to make sure I get the hang of using it before our cruise.
I like the internal knobbly surface to rub the clothes against as it would have rubbing the material together with hands (I have arthritis in my hands). It makes so much sense being like the wash boards that have been around forever – so you know it’s going to work – but in a modern way. Great for use in our caravan I think!

👏 Everything about it is Eco and easy 😀
Makes washing clothes A breeze when travelling. No more soaking shreddies in the sink….I even got my beautiful white t shirt white again after soaking it in my .scrubba overnight,
I like the little ribbs or fingers inside to help with the washing.
I love how portable and light it is! I would love to use it when we go on family camp outs, or send it with my scout when he goes backpacking!
The ability to carry fewer clothes, lighter is better!
With allergies to washing detergents and rubber gloves the feature I love most about the Scrubba would be being able to hand wash clothes without having to get detergent on my hands.
apart from the fact the kids can do their own washing – love that it’s compact and great for our family of 5 who tent we could wash while we’re away therefore reducing the need to pack extra clothes. Great to read the post without packing too!
My favourite feature is the slip resistant base, which allowed rolling on a tilled bathroom floor while scrubbing with feet. It worked out to be a great way to clean as it allowed time to read up on and plan for the next destination when travelling.
The bag has served us well for four international trips and another would be brilliant. I couldn’t imagine travelling for a month with carry on luggage without it!
I love how convenient they are. I’ve had to do handwashing for a several months while living overseas once and I would have loved to have this.
I love that it is twice as effective as hand washing! I hand wash and just need a bit better. This would be perfect. What a great idea. Plus it’s lightweight and easy to store
