This was meant to go up on the blog sometime over the weekend but we went away camping, and where we stayed in Hill End there was no electricity, no phone coverage and basically no time for online work! So I am glad to be sharing today last Thursday our Second Sons Navy Graduation pictures…we are very proud of our son {all of our sons} but extremely proud that we got to share this wonderful day with him.
With our oldest son we couldn’t make his Graduation because he was in Melbourne and we were in Queensland. Now that we are in Wollongong we were able to drive up to Watson Bay in Sydney to see the great event.
Second Sons Amazing Views ::
He is now officially qualified in his Job Description with the Navy. He has his posting, heading to Western Australia sometime in July, and is looking forward to learning more on the Job Training!
David was doing the Bunny Ears behind his Two Older Sons….I asked him to be sensible at least once!!!
This is What We Got ::
We waited for our second son to pack his Bag, while we waited we got to over look these cliffs – stunning!
We only realised afterwards that Cameron was not in any family photos…its cause he was sitting quietly reading a book and we forgot to ask him to join in! Gosh that is so slack of us 🙂
After the graduation he had the four days off, and he got to spend it with us! Was great to spend time creating memories with him…and to see how much fun he had with Kyle.
They both got on so well, and it was the best weekend ever!
It was a bummer the weekend came to an end, and it was a bummer we had to return him back to base!!
Looking forward to spending as much time possible with him before he heads to Western Australia, where he will be based for his posting.
Second Sons Navy Graduation was a great day.
Thanking You For Letting Us Share His Day With You All!!
Cheers
Lisa
Wonderful that you got to share such an important day. Wow WA, a long way but at least it’s still the same country.
Angel recently posted..Inspired by her
Yeah it was a great day! I keep thinking about how much fun he is going to have over in WA – trying so hard not to think about how far it is from New South Wales 🙂
My only issue is if both older boys are deployed at the same time I cant be in two different states at the same time…yet I never ever want them to be standing on the dock side without someone waving them off 🙂
