In the last three weeks we have been Geocaching as much of Bundaberg as Possible. We are trying to cross off all the Caches in the area, to have lots of “Smiling Faces” on our Geoache.com account!
Along the way we are able to see more of Bundaberg, discovering places we have never seen before. And learning along the way – we homeschool with what we see and do as we are out and about. Learning all day long, the best way to homeschool.
Some Of The Geocaches We Have Found ::
We won’t share the exact locations cause we don’t want to spoil it all for you, but we will show the pictures of our finds.
One day I was out and about without kids, and decided to do a few caches in between business appointments. I found a few, but its not the same feeling as when you go looking with little ones!
The clues for the entrance sign into Bundaberg help locate the smallest cache ever!
This one was hidden well off the path, so we took it back to this seat to sign! Its amazing how much trouble people go to – this one was hidden well, with a little story that matched the cache! It was such a cute thing.
It was very tricky to find! And we almost gave up when Kyle decided to have one more look. And then he was so very excited to say “Yep, here it is” – the co-ordinates were way off.
These are Some of the Geocaches We Have Found so far – we are looking to search Bargara {Beach area} and over that way next week!
We love Geocaching – we can explore more of the area and see places that we didn’t know existed. You think you have seen all you can of one place, and then you find more to explore.
Have You Been To Bundaberg?
Do you Like To Geocache?
Cheers

Wow! I can’t believe my eyes of how small the micro cache is. It is minute! Your boy is sooo good! I take my hat off to him. I love these finds. We did one a long while ago now and I found it almost impossible! Luckily we had help from strangers or angels shall I say who showed us where it was when we were about to give up our fourth hunt! lol! You have inspired me again and I so want to do one now! 🙂
