I am not allowed to talk about my older son’s life (career Lifestyle) on line. Due to where he is or what he is doing. So I wont say anything about his life but I will not stop my feelings for him. Not ever going to, not able to and dont want to. He is my son, and I havent seen him since January this year. Missing you so very much baby……
I thought that I would be ok. But I am not….I am never going to get used to saying Goodbye. I don’t care what any one tells me…this is hard. It hurts and I hate it! When Will It Get Any Easier?
When Does Saying Goodbye Get Easier?
So we have said goodbye a few times to our older son. But it still feels like yesterday that he was here, and still living with us. Yesterday was a hard day for me. Not for any reason – I just felt like I was really missing something. Anything. Then I would look at my photos that I have next to my bed and I would start to remember when it was taken.
The Photo is of my five boys together. Hayden is on the left side, then Nic is holding Kyle, Cameron is sitting next to Zachery – Zach is cuddlying Cameron. They are all sittting together close. It was about 5 1/2 years ago so they are all very small in the photo. Its my favorite of my boys – something that I treasure.
We arrived late Thursday in Melbourne and had to be at the hotel before 9.00pm. After flying in we headed straight to the car hire company to pick up our small car. We were hoping to be able to upgrade to a bigger car but there was nothing available.
Trip To Melbourne Three Days Is Not Long Enough
It seems that Melbourne was fully booked out – Hotels, cars, and anything that was holiday related. It seems that Australia Day, the tennis open and the navy march out parade was all on the one weekend! Fancy that 🙂
Friday Morning Was Our Reason To Be In Melbourne
Friday morning we all had to be up early and out the door. Luckily my brothers were able to upgrade their hire car because there was six of us, my two brothers and David’s Parents (a total of 11). I am so glad that we decided to all make the trip to see our older son proudest day.
Arriving at the Navy Base I was amazed with the buildings. Some of the Buildings were so old with so much character. The drive to the car park reminded me of the English Countryside – if you have been to England you will know how pretty and green the country is..if not imagine the countryside of Tasmania and that was what the Navy Base was like!
