But its all I have! Lately I am literally running from one thing to the next. School drop off, cleaning, washing clothes, washing dishes, cooking dinners, being with Kyle, gardening, more washing of clothes (folding and putting away), scraping off the paint of our old Motorhome, pick up from school, getting Zachery to work, making sure David gets his lunch ready for work….and the list keeps on going.
Every Day Things Mums Do!
So tonight I am sitting here, my brain is fried and I realise that half of my online work is not going to get done, my emails are not all going to be opened and dealt with, my facebook friends are neglected (once again!), my twitter account is so badly forgotten about. My reading of blogs is WAY behind!
Today we only had a little bit to finish off the scraping ~
yet it took forever! The paint was stuck on 🙂
But. I. Dont. Care.
Because tonight my two boys were in bed with me……..
Kyle rolled into Cameron~
must have thought he was Dad!
One was sleeping.
The other finishing off (actually he started and finished it!) his school project that is due tomorrow. And I am so very happy. I am so grateful that my youngest listened to “The Goose That Laid The Golden Egg” iReading App on my phone, in bedtime mode. While Cameron sat next to me typing away. Never realised how SLOW typing could be from kids!
Now I can sleep with a smile on my face.
Even if Time Poor Is Not An Excuse, tonight I am claiming that I spent time with my sons. They make my day.
And time scraping of the passenger side as well as the back, of our Motorhome. We are now down to the sanding part!
We have now finished both sides ~
started on the back late this afternoon!
We are now down to sanding the rest of the flaky paint off our Motorhome. Gosh that is something that will be a huge challenge!
Are You Time Poor?
Do You Juggle Too Much In Your Day?

I’ve decided that this is part of being a mom. I’m afraid it will never stop. Glad to know that I’m not alone in the time-juggling-struggle. I’m hoping to get a rest once school starts in September.

Hi Amy,
It sure is a big balancing act! And yep many Mums around the world experience time-juggling on a daily basis. Funny how us Mums can easily do at least 100 things in one day! (and nearly all at the same time!)
Cheers
Lisa
Hi Lisa,
I admit that I am time poor because I tend to procrastinate. Reading your blog, I know that you still have time to do things though they are quite many. I don’t know how you do it but I guess you can still manage your time better than I do. Cheers! 😀
Hi Ron,
Yeah I too waste time thinking about what I should be doing! I am trying to change that, and to focus on getting as much done as possible.
Looking forward to having our Motorhome painted on the outside thats for sure.
Cheers
Lisa
You are getting heaps done. Nothing better than one child asleep and the other successfully finishing an assignment. Job well done!
Now to that pile of emails, twitters, posts …

Hi Jan,
Trying to get too much done! But almost completed most of my projects. Garden beds are nearly all finished, and I love how they look.
It was funny how late Cameron left his school project – he had it for weeks and yet didnt complete it to the last minute. His Dad used to do the very same thing!
Cheers

I do know that feeling well and I’m realizing that my social media side should be just that… a side to my real life. I want to enjoy both but I want to have a good balance. So don’t feel guilty at all… enjoy the real life and come back to the online one when you have the time.

Its such a fine act of balancing everything in life! Amazing how us Mums keep going, and manage to do five hundred things at once 🙂
Continue being a super mom who travels the road!
