Travelling The Right Way

Is there such a thing as Travelling The Right Way? What is the right way, and what is the wrong way? Dear whoever you are {Hiding behind your computer screen} I would like to be able to get to know you so that you can see that our family travels our way which suits us.

If you had left your details I would have sent you a private email so that we could start a conversation, and so that one day you could catch up with us to see that we are an everyday normal Australian Family with dreams.

Being on our Facebook Page is us sharing, and we share from the heart, Maybe some people don’t like what we are doing, that’s fine. You don’t have to “Like” our page nor do you have to sit there and check it all out…..we are good with you not liking us, and we are good with you not checking us out.

But please respect that we are a family with feelings. We have our Names out there to connect with others, we share our photos on Facebook and here so others can connect with us. We are sharing our life the way we live it.

I wont discuss here what you wrote because I want to let you know that this is not the place to discuss what you have heard from other travelling families, about our family.

And we love hearing from other Travelers – love hearing their Stories {and their families}, we love following their journey on Facebook or even off line.

Years Ago

Many Years Ago David used to work as a security guard in the Queen Victoria Building. There he meet a lady who always quotes the same lines “You are Wrong, I am Right” to anything that was said to her, to any situation that happened in those buildings. It has come back to me to reflect upon.

Who is right about how to Travel around Australia?

Some families pack up their houses and travel for 12 months.

Some travel in six months.

Some travel for years.

And some like us have decided that this is our “New Life” – our new way of living.

So far we have been from Glasshouse Mountains, to Bundaberg, to the Sunshine Coast, to Mackay {to visiting Clermont for a camping trip}, to Bundaberg, to the Sunshine Coast, to New South Wales.

Before we had a Motorhome we have moved all over Queensland – actually it would have saved us a lot of money if we had a Motorhome from the start instead of moving so many times over the years.

At the moment we are here because of our Boys needs. Purely for our Sons education, and we would do whatever it took for our sons to chase their dreams. We are proud of the men they are growing into.

Talking About Us.

If you have any questions about what we do please leave them here or email them privately…..I answer a lot of questions because I do think that it could encourage another family to set out and chase their goals.

We talk about those that inspire us, and those that we look up to, sharing how much they are living their dream. Its what gives us the determination to keep going – all you have to do is spend time with our family to see that we have our boys best interest at heart……they are our reason “WHY” everyday.

To The Person Last Night ::

I am sorry that you feel the need to speak about us in the light that you did. I would like to take this time to say

“Please, you have my biggest deepest love for all that you are going through”

and I wish you well with living a life of happiness. After all life is far too short to be going around and saying things that are not true.

live your dream

Go And Live Your Dream With Love And Happiness

My reality is different to your reality.

Is that the wrong or right?

Who knows but I do know that Travelling The Right Way is what ever works for us, whatever works for who ever is traveling.

You have our best wishes in life.

Thanking you for following our Journey.

Well said Lisa, It is your business and your business alone to what you do with your life. Some people don’t know how to communicate any other way other then attack people who are doing something different to norm. There will always be bitter and resentful people out there, and you have handled their indignation very well.

Thanking you Jackie for your love and support. Your friendship means the world to us 🙂

I feel for the person – they must be hurting to feel like they can jump onto Facebook pages and say things without knowing us.

May they find the peace within that they so need xxx

I don’t get it either – but i so feel for them. Their life must be so miserable to have to say hurtful things to others.
Hope they can move on and heal within.

Thanks Trish – I think that the person is reflecting their own life with the comments they left on our FB page.
And I feel for them – they need to let it go and make peace within, and find their inner happiness.
I know that within my own heart that my boys are important and we live for them xxx

You did very well answering in such a way I may not have been as polite, Live your dreams travel your way, and forget about their negativity, I think it is truly inspiring that you are following your heart and so willing to share so much of it with us.

Thanking you Kelly – I wish the person well in life and can only imagine the pain they are in to have Jumped onto our Facebook Page to say the things she said.

We are all different and that’s what makes life interesting – following dreams makes life worthwhile.

Good to hear the support and kind words 🙂

Hi there – your life sounds fascinating and full of richness and new experiences. I am sorry that other people don’t see the same thing or want you to do things differently. Our country is wonderful when it accepts us all for who we are – you keep on travelling your path and I will wish the best for those travelling a poorer path, and we will all get there in the end!

I don’t know what was said, and this is the first I’ve come across your blog, but one of the Nomadic families (I forget who, but I think Bohemian Travellers) wrote a lovely piece about how when they told their friends and family about their plan to travel the world for the rest of their lives, they were surprised by the negative reactions…she realised that some of it was jealous, for following their dreams (when most are too scared), anger at leaving them (their kids not growing up with their friends and families kids etc) and just a reaction to the feeling of being rejected…
