Travelling Tuesday ::
Berry sure is Famous For Their Donuts.
A few weekends ago we took a drive down Memory Lane. David took us to spots where he visited and camped when he was younger, and we ended up at Berry. I had briefly driven through there awhile ago but didn’t really have time to stop and check it out….this time we had to park a few streets away and walk back to the main street. I am so keen to go back – I want to check out the antique stores, the toy store (oh my gosh do they have some amazing toys!), the pub and even the hotel. There is something about the place that wants you to stay for awhile.
In the Main Streets they Have Directions of how far other Cities are!
David remembers a time when he would go through in the early hours of the morning and stop for a Donuts – not sure if they are still open all of the time, but when we got there we ordered and had a very long wait. There were people everywhere, and so many where buying HEAPS of Donuts….they so were worth the wait!

Yeah I think that I would return to Berry just for the Donuts, and I really want to try out their Coffee. David and I are big coffee snubs – we only buy Organic Fair Trade Coffee when we can, so it was a surprise to see a Cafe advertising that they use Organic Coffee Beans.
I normally don’t like to buy coffee when we are out because David makes it a special way and I find it a waste of money from shops! I reckon trying coffee is worth it when its the finest coffee beans!
The Pub With The Boat On Its Roof ::
This Pub has so much character – would love to sit and have a beer there!
Yep that’s a back of a Kangaroo in a Boat on a Roof!
We all laughed when we walked past this pub!
Love the Flower Shop in Berry
Would have loved to spend time looking in the Flower Shop – maybe next time!

Even though it was not real….he has a wicked sense of humor!
Love the older style Buildings in Berry!
Would love to go back and spend a day walking around and visiting as many stores as possible…maybe a day when I am kid free!
