Gosh are we so glad to be back home. We Made It Home But Where Is Home is a question I was asked on facebook.
Its funny but I don’t consider “Home” as being a location but more about living in our Motorhome!
Home Is Where The Heart Is
It is so true – home is where the heart is. As long as I have my bed, my kitchen and my boys have their beds, then I am happy.
Where ever the bus may be parked around Australia – that is what I consider home…our Motorhome.
Home Sweet Home – Love My Kitchen!
The car is unpacked, and the washing is on.
We had Pumpkin Soup for Dinner – it was so nice to be eating vegetarian again!
The beds are all sorted – we have our youngest on a air mattress while our oldest uses Kyle’s bed!
There is shopping to be done in the morning, and lots of more sorting out the bus – funny we have only been gone for six days but it feels like longer.
We got home last this evening, so walking through the bus door the windows were all opened up, and the dinner was on within minutes!
Five hungry boys….dinner must be on quick!
As soon as we were ready we sat outside and enjoyed our meal while watching “Getaway” – gosh have you seen some of those places that they visit on that show?
On The Road
While we were travelling from Bundaberg to the Sunshine Coast we only came across one crazy Truck Driver.
He was nuts…..driving through Gympie way over the speed limit (he was going faster then us and we were doing 60!) and driving so close to the car in front – if they had to break suddenly I am not sure that the truck driver could have?
He even used the left over taking lane to try to speed up and over take a car on the right lane?
Then we noticed (about 10 minutes out side of Gympie) that he had stopped. Maybe he realised how crazy his driving was…..he even crossed over to the other lane on many bends – lucky there was no cars coming the other way?
Maybe he stopped to sleep, or maybe he needed a break.
Not sure – just hope that he arrives safe n sound where ever he is heading to.
Other then the one crazy truck driver on the road, it was very quiet. All of the cars that we came across where driving safely, and only over took when it was safe to do so….all in all it was a good trip home.
Tonight I get to sleep in my own bed! A bed that I thought was not comfy until I spent six days in another bed that is too soft 🙂
Love Our Big Comfy Bed!
Home is where my heart is.
Where Is Your Home?
