Today I forgot what was going on at school. And got caught up with cleaning NOT happy as I forgot that it was Friday.
Not Happy as I forgot that it was my younger two boys Sports Day. Not happy as I have not got one photo from today. Not happy as I could have sent our son Zachery to support Cameron and Kyle. But you know what?
When Life Goes Off Course
Today has given me a little reminder that life sometimes goes crazy, and I am too busy to remember everything. But super happy as Kyle was smiling from ear to ear when I picked him up at school – he came first today in one of his running races!
Now that makes me very happy. He was so very proud of himself, and he was excited because its the very first time he has ever won a race. A running race. Where he came first. I was too scared to ask how many was in the race with him…..what if it was only him and another kid?
What if it was only him? Not likely to happen but what if!!
Tomorrow Life is getting back on course – I am taking them out in the morning and we are going exploring. Now that makes me one happy Mumma.
What Makes You Happy?
What Do You Do When Life Goes off Course?
Cheers

New Life on the Road
when life goes off course, well… best thing for it for me is a deep breath, lists and checking the calender, time at home getting myself organized! How exciting that he won!
It sure was a great day – seeing his gorgeous smiling face with his ribbon 🙂
Yay for Kyle, now that has got to help boost his confidence. I was a little upset too, as it was our girls sports day as well and my youngest wanted me to go and watch but I had to work. She got a second in 200m and 3rd in hurdles, 5th in Javelin out of about 18 kids and a few other results so annoyed that I didn’t get to watch.

Hi Jackie,
So glad that Kyle was happy to get a ribbon! And to come first 🙂
Bummer about having to work and miss your girls sports day! A huge congratulations on your girls doing so well.
Cheers

We spent the day fishing in our boat with our son Matt who is 21. We do not get much quality time with Matt, so I was over the moon and so was Marty. Matt caught two mackeral and so did Marty. (I let mine go – well not really – they let themselves go actually). A wonderful day. Well done Kyle – neither of my children ever won a running race. They had lots of “Good Try” certificates and maybe a third! Glad I am not the only one who forgets things.

Hi Jan,
What a great way to spend the day – quality time and catching fish 🙂
Happy Birthday Matt. So good to hear you all had fun.
Kyle is still as proud as punch for winning his first ever race.
