Two seasons ago I organised a Whale Watching Tour for the Bundaberg Homeschooling group with Lady Musgrave Experience. I didn’t have the time last season to organise anything but this season I made sure! We have done a Whale Tour on the Sunshine Coast when we used to live down that way.
We love the ocean, we love animals and we really wanted to be out there on the ocean seeing the Whales.
Want a book about Best Whale Watching? “The Best Whale Watching” is waiting for you! *Please note when you purchase the book you will be giving us a small commission – enough to help us buy a cup of coffee xx
Best Whale Watching In Bundaberg
And we wanted to be able to support one amazing company in Bundaberg “Lady Musgrave Whale Experience” along with sharing it all with the Homeschooling group. When you find the time to follow your passion, and you want it bad enough when the day comes around its more than amazing.
Yesterday was beyond perfect for the Best Whale Watching In Bundaberg cruise. Not too hot, not too cold, not raining, no crazy winds, and a clear day with a chance of Whales Breaching {see that – I learnt a new word yesterday!}.
Everyone in the homeschooling group was beyond excited! This time the company asked everyone to pay before the cruise, last time everyone paid on the boat. I was kinda glad cause I didn’t want to be in charge of any money – and the bill was huge! I got the “bill” in my name, which was so funny cause I didn’t have to pay it all – only for myself and my two sons.
We were meant to go out last Thursday, but the wind was crazy wild and had to be postponed to yesterday. And I was so glad because it was perfect weather for Whale Cruising.
We had time before the cruise, so I went to the Sail Repair Shop. We have put our main sail in for a quote. It can either be repaired or it will have to be replaced. Depending on the cost will depend on our decision – and the other aspect is how long will it take to fix or how long will it take to find another one that will fit? We are super keen to get our tiny trailer sailing boat out into the water.
Dave is itching so badly to travel to the surrounding islands from Bundaberg. He has always wanted to learn to sail, and so his super keen. Kyle is also keen – he keeps sitting on the boat!!
Best Whale Watching In Bundaberg
I can’t believe that I didn’t share our experience with Lady Musgrave Whale Touring two years ago. So I am going to share those photos from that day along with the photos from yesterday. We have been on a few whale cruises! We went on one down on the Sunshine Coast a few years ago – it was also a wonderful moment.
But I really do have to say that the Lady Musgrave Whale Tour company has the friendliest crew around – they really do go above and beyond providing top notch service, and knowledge about the whales. They are by far the best crew onboard that we have come across.
We so are looking forward to the next Whale Cruise, and I would love to be able to do the day excursion to the Lady Musgrave Island.
Lady Musgrave Whale Experience From 2017 –
Whale Watching In Bundaberg 2019
Forget anything else….we don’t need to see the Whales do we? The two Dolphins were more than enough of a hi-light from that day! Yeah I was more chafed over the two dolphins then I was over any Whales!!!!
So I guess now that I have raved about the best moment of my entire day, I guess I should tell you and share with you all about the main attraction – The Whales?
The Best Whale Watching Experience Ever
Funny enough he was only a smaller whale and still had some growing to do! Remind you of someone? Yep our 14-year-old is still growing, nuts I know!!
I so didn’t want the day to end, and I so didn’t want to say goodbye to those whales 🙂
And going back to Bundaberg, Nope I didn’t want to return.
All of the Bundaberg Homeschooling Group had so much fun – we can’t wait to go again. And Lady Musgrave Experience company said that the group is more than welcome anytime.
