With our Various Camping Trips over the years we have stayed at Theresa Creek Dam a few times – camping in a Tent and also in our Camper Trailer. But I haven’t blogged about all of our stays cause I got a bit busy {and slack}. Jumped onto our very old computer today – the one that will turn on but is sooooo slooooow that I can walk faster than it can boot up.
To find a heap of amazing Photos that I haven’t shared ever on New Life on the Road. Camping At Theresa Creek Dam is one of our most fondest camping trips ever. Looking back on our times there and how much fun we had I want to go back like right now.
Yet I have a HUGE Bucket List of must see destinations so sharing our amazing time there will have to do for the moment. My life is way out of control at the moment – David has a new job and he works afternoon shift and so I am trying like crazy to juggle family life and traveling life and commitments. I am trying to hold it together for everyone without running away to join the circus.
Sharing Theresa Creek Dam Campground :
When we stayed Camping Theresa Creek Dam I was able to use the room downstairs in the main house as a Massage Room for the few days that we were there. Which was so good because it was fully air-conditioned.
I was kept so busy – massaging client after client because their wasn’t a massage therapist in Clermont, the nearest one was in Emerald.
And the gorgeous family that was the manager of Theresa Creek is no longer there – they moved onto another job and new owners took over.
We loved the peaceful of the Dam – we parked near a toilet block, but far away that we felt like we were camping in peace and quiet.
There is a huge amount of space and it does become very busy at certain times of the year. Kids never used to be charged to stay there – it was {at the time we camped there} $10.00 per night per couple.
There is 2 boat ramps, great magical place for fishing, swimming and taking the boat/jet ski. There is an undercover playground, and three {or four} toilet blocks.
We have been in both a busy period of time, and a quieter period of time. Both times we loved it – the crazy part is that yes it gets super busy but yet still so peaceful.
I remember we went when it was Melbourne Cup time. We don’t really celebrate that event of the Year, but we did join in with having lunch at the Pub in town – as we like to support as many businesses as possible when traveling.
I have also got Sunset Photos that I can share from Theresa Creek Dam, the attractions from Clermont and even where we went Gem Fossicking. It was one of Kyle’s best travel trips – he loved every minute of being there and having so much fun.
Have You Ever Found Photos From One Of Your Trips?
