Growing up as a Girl with brothers, going to a all girls high school, being the quiet shy nerdy one I always felt like I don’t Fit In Anywhere.
And I am now okay with that. Cause if I was like other people would I have been brave enough to buy a motorhome sight unseen, location unknown?
Would I have been brave enough to homeschool my boys.
Would I have been brave enough to turn my back on the medical industry and heal myself naturally?
Would I have been brave enough to get out of my comfort zone and share everything here on New Life on the Land {road}?
Would I be brave enough to loose my massage business and create a way to make money online?
Would I have been brave enough to turn off the TV and the Fake news and research all that we do research, read, question, read more, ask more questions {I love debates!!!}
Would I have been able to get out of my own way to let go of what is expected from me and live a life that is comfortable to what suits us?
The other day I shared a FUNNY crazy facebook post on our facebook page – about not being able to have BBQ’s here in AU. There was over 900 questions on that one post, and it was so good to see the questions. They were valid questions – about where is the money gone for those that lost their homes in the fires, to why are we in lock down for so long yet the international airport is still open, to why is 5G rolling out Australia wide, to how we are losing our freedom every single day – there was so many VALID questions and I loved it. And so many more questions since.
Cause I love asking questions
I love researching, I love living without FEAR. I love embracing my way of living. And I am proud of the way we live in a Motorhome, with an amazing outdoor deck and day bed – we have our own little oasis out there and I love it. I love going to the beach as much as possible – and crossing off Bucket List moments {yep Dave and I went skinny dipping last week as there was no one around}.
I Love Not Fitting In Anywhere
I Love My Life. I love the way we see the world, I love the adventures we seek, I love the people we connect with, I love the conversations we have with other like minded people. I love feeling like I don’t Fit In Anywhere because we so live outside of the box.
And I am Okay with that.
But David took the post down – He decided that it wasn’t worth my precious energy dealing with people who don’t get the way we question everything, who don’t get the way we won’t live inside of the system, who don’t understand us – never take the time to have a conversation with us yet feel its okay to start giving us labels, start putting our ideas down, start the stupid rude comments back and forward….
You can have a difference of opinion – and that is fine, we don’t care that if you believe in the TV and watch all the stupid crazy fake news and believe every word that is being programmed into you – that’s your choice and we could have easily turned around and called you “Sheeple” -but we didn’t. Or crazy cat lady, or crazy weird people…or whatever other names are out there.
You see I don’t care what you believe in – I don’t care if you believe in a religion, I don’t care if you want to see a doctor every week, I don’t care if you eat crap food, I don’t care if you smoke/drink/stay up all night….I don’t care if you eat vegan, or eat meat, or eat what ever you want.
Its your choice to live your life the way you have to.
Its our choice to live our life the way we want to.
NOTHING you say will change my mind, we will always question everything. We will always do research, we will always share our thoughts, we will always share what we are doing. We will always live our life with our purpose – to help others. To show them that they too can live outside of the box.
You Don’t Have To Feel Like You Don’t Fit In
Cause we are the same! We don’t fit into the box of living within the system. WE don’t go to the doctors unless its an emergency and it has to be a really big emergency.
We heal naturally.
We eat gluten free, sugar free, preservative free, colour free, additive free – we eat with basic ingredients and that has helped repair my damaged liver. And also going Keto has done amazing things for Dave and I.
We seek natural ways to live – we don’t use any chemicals in our Motorhome – we use natural products for deodorants, washing liquid, washing up liquid, floor cleaner, soap and the list goes on.
We don’t drink, we don’t smoke – we cant afford it!
We don’t drink soft drinks, we don’t eat prepacked foods.
We live as clean as possible.
That is our choice, and one we have taken many years ago – and we don’t regret our choices.
So if we do our own researches and we question EVERYTHING cause we don’t want to fit into the system that the govt has created – we get called “Conspiracy Theorists” – REALLY???? Which by the way I don’t care if we called that – I would rather feel like I Don’t Fit In Anywhere then be living in fear, asleep and blind to what is going on with the corruption in our world {follow the money and you will find where it leads to}
Just cause we have our eyes open – and we have done a lot of reading on every topic out there. What right do YOU have to call us names and to make us feel like our decisions are NOT right for us? You haven’t had a conversation around a camp fire with us – you don’t know us personally – only from what we share with our photos/our thoughts/a brief minute of our day.
And you never comment or connect with us before that post about BBQ’s – see why Dave took the post down? Cause it wasn’t worth our time and effort to connect with people who weren’t prepared to put time and effort into connecting with us.
I will always have time for people who are prepared to have an open mind, accept other people’s opinions/beliefs/religion/way of living, will always love to hear on how you live your life.
But I wont take the precious time out of my day to connect with a closed minded person. There is no point because you will always think you are right and that no other persons opinions matter.
Meeting Someone The Other Day
The other day I was in Aldi – we do our shopping on a Friday for our family and Dave’s parents as we are trying to keep them out of town as much as possible. And we meet another amazing lady who was asking us questions about being Gluten Free. I casually asked her what she does for work. She gave me a card, and let me know that she is a JW – Jehovah Witness.
Now I am not into that religion – not really into any religion – but it was good to connect with her. I sent her a copy of a piece of writing that I had seen of another facebook page, and she sent me links to videos and messages about her religion. And I was happy for her to do that – because I don’t feel threatened by her beliefs, and I am okay to acknowledge that she has different way of looking at life.
My beliefs are strong enough to not be closed minded, to not feel like her way of thinking is not right – she is who she is meant to be. We are who we are meant to be. Its called being accepting/being okay/ I Don’t Fit In Anywhere and I am happy to accept that.
So I don’t regret sharing our thoughts and our way of living – researching – digging deeper into the way the world is run – to seeing the stuff that is happening in the world – to not accepting it as being normal and to watching a new world about to emerge.
And its exciting. I don’t feel like the world is a horrible place, and will always be a horrible place – I don’t feel like the world suxs at all.
I believe that amazing things are happening all over the world.
Homeschooling is being accepted as how they will keep schooling their family.
Homebirths are on the rise.
Like minded people are coming together – sharing the same thoughts, the same questions, the same way of looking outside of the box.
Sharing how they think about what is happening to our world, and why. And what is going to happen in the near future. And how we will have a better world from what is going on behind the scenes. Its a really exciting to see and hear from those that are looking with eyes wide open.
To hear from other people, to know that the way we lived has changed, and will change for the future, and that is exciting.
So if you feel like us – and want to connect with us – then say hi! We love to hear from you all – no need to be closed minded and rude – we are all different but can still be kind to each other.
Life On The Land is getting amazing – you will see more over on our facebook page with what we are up to!
Cheers
Lisa
New Life On the Road
You took the way I feel about everything and hit it spot on. I actually love to hear others opinions and beliefs which must not be a common quality to have this day in age. I know if it was a common thing this world would be at much more peace. But to me it doesn’t take away from the beauty I choose to see in the world and in life in every way. I love all humanity. I’ve been there for people that others call not good people because of their addictions, beliefs, or bad life choices, & One day I was asked why do you associate yourself with “people like that”, it makes you look bad cause they are bad??? You know what my answer was? I don’t see the bad in any1, because I don’t look for it, I don’t think about what bad they could bring into my life, I look at it like this…..what if I’m the only kind / loving part of that person’s life at that moment n time, when the rest of their world is so harsh and cruel ( u never know what a person has been through or may be going through or what a difference just being kind can make in a person’s journey. I don’t judge and show all humanity love, comfort, support, and acceptance…… Sometimes thats all it takes to humble a soul. And on a level that brings them to see the world around them differently because they change the way they looke at the world from one act of kindness.
