When we went camping at Theresa Creek Dam {I know its been ages but I have only just been able to find and access photos from that trip!!} we made sure to drive back down to Rubyvale as Kyle LOVES fossicking for treasures, he so wants to ride his bike by himself to New South Wales to the “Fossickers Way” but of course I am the mean Mum and I wont let him!
Miners Heritage Walk In Mine ::
This was awhile ago, so I don’t remember how much we paid to do the tour – we were the only family there so we got a very good deal with the ratio of how many were there with the Guide Tour Lady. She has her own Mine Shaft/property that she is also working when she doesn’t work at the Miners Heritage Walk in Mine. I was shocked at how many rings were on her hands – mind you I can’t wear any of mine so it might seem like a lot of rings – but every finger had at least one or two rings – is that a lot to wear?
Kyle was over the moon at the Walk In Mine Tour. He would live in Rubyvale – like buy a property – and live there if we let him!!
There is a museum {not sure if that is what it is called} after the walk in tour – and its a must to see!! There is so much to look at and read – so many amazing success stories of who found the big gemstones and where.
They also have a shop where you can heaps of different gemstones and so many incredible products. We bought a book about healing with gemstones and which one is needed and what it will heal.
Our Thoughts About Miners Heritage
Would We Recommend Miners Heritage Walk In Mine?
Yes we would – we would go back in a heartbeat 🙂
Kyle loved it and David loved it. It was the best way to hear about how to mine gemstones and what to expect if you owned a mine.
