You all know how much our son Kyle LOVES/Breathes/Thinks/Lives Karate! He now does Karate four nights a week…yes four nights of intense training and if he could he would do seven nights a week.
Last weekend he had two days of training. Well not really – one day in a hall and another day on the Beach. On the Sunday they all had the most amazing Sunrise Karate At Woodgate Beach.
He was upset that the beach morning didn’t go longer! I was okay with finishing before 8.30am considering we had to be up by 5.00am on the Sunday – so NOT a morning person.
What I love about Kyle’s dedication – he isn’t naturally good at karate, it takes him a lot of practice to get it right – but his love {passion} of what he is interested in makes me in awe of him. Like how does he know at 14 what he wants from life?
Wished I Knew What I Wanted Right Now
I am grown up and I still don’t know what I want to be!!
I loved being on the beach – its my happy place on earth. We didn’t get enough time down in Woodgate Beach to explore the area so we will have to go back another time. I want to walk from one end of the beach to the other end – not sure on how far that is, but it looks like it could easily take a day.
Oh maybe I do know what I love – its walking! Now if only I could get paid for walking the beaches of Australia – haha now I have to work out how to make that a career move!!!
Sunrise Karate at Woodgate Beach
On the Monday morning we went looking for a GEOcache at Woodgate, on the beach but unfortunately my GPS on my phone didn’t work!! And we couldn’t find it – so YES we will have to go back another time 🙂
We so wanted to stay longer and explore more but we had to get back to an appointment for David’s chiropractor therapy.
Massive Thank you
To our friend down at Woodgate Beach for helping us out all weekend….another amazing Homeschooling Mum washed Kyle’s very wet and sandy Karate Uniform, asked him to go fishing – another huge passion of his – and gave him an ice-cream that was safe for him to eat!
Woodgate Beach has five Geocaching to find – so yes we love the beach, we love geocaching, we love walking and we love exploring. We love everything about traveling.
We found a cute little beach house through the real estate at Woodgate Beach. It was cheaper to rent two nights in a cute beach home then to stay in the Hotel room which didn’t have any kitchen facilities or laundry facilities. Ops! I didn’t take any photos of the beach house – I only did a video on our Instagram page of the inside 🙂
Have You Seen A Sunrise At Woodgate Beach?
Cheers
Lisa
