The other day {last week} I decided to head out the door. Putting on Easy Potato Bake before heading out the door meant that we could go for a Road Trip down to Ulladulla New South Wales.
When David and I were younger both of our Families used to go on Holidays to Ulladulla. We didn’t even know each other back then so it spun us out when we discovered that we both had experienced holidays with family in the same locations!
I have been wanting to explore new locations each week so that we explore more of NSW before we move on. And even though I can’t drive our Motorhome {Actually no-one can at them moment because David is getting parts replaced} outta here I can use my older son’s car for Road Trips.
Mind you I would love a car that was set up for over night trips so that Kyle, Cameron and I could drive as long as we wanted and not worry about having to return to whenever we wanted!
It was cold the day we explored Ulladulla as well as it was late in the afternoon so we could only explore Ulladulla Beach, Lighthouse and of course we had to find a Park for our boys to enjoy.
Stopping At The Lookout
Along the Way we stopped at Mt Pleasant Lookout. Its a great spot to sit for a moment, take in the view and reflect about where to go to next in life!
Mt Pleasant Lookout ~
Great Scenic Stop.
Cameron was in charge of the Camera ~
he decided that he wanted to take the photos on the way down!
Ulladulla Beach Pool ~
Closed for Cleaning as well as its too cold to swim!
Kyle was fascinated with how Blue the water was ~
He was asking a lot of questions, and coming up with some great stories.
The Wind was really strong ~
so we kept on walking and exploring…trying to keep warm through moving.
After exploring Ulladulla Harbour {too cold to stay too long!} we decided to jump back into the Car, drive through the town and see what we could find.
Glad I drove on gut instinct once again, as we ended up driving down a road to this….
Ulladulla Light House ~
with the sun going down!
We stayed long enough to read about the Dolphins information, take a few photos, watch Cameron and Kyle Playing…
Then both boys let me know they were ready for some Playground Fun. So we decided to be brave enough and face the cold once again. Heading back through to town to Ulladulla Rotary Park
Wished We Had More Time!
The Sun was going down, if we could have stayed longer we would have. But the time was getting on, and it was so very cold. Next time we head back down to Ulladulla New South Wales we will make sure we leave Wollongong early so that we have more time to explore!
Thanking you Ulladulla for being such a beautiful spot, we will be back.
Have You Been To Ulladulla New South Wales?
Thanking you following our Journey.
Cheers

New Life on the Road.
The photo of the boys standing close together is fantastic – and the lighthouse shot. It is strange that you and David had the same holidays without knowing it!

Thanks Jan – Cameron and Kyle were playing around on the Rock and it was one of those moments in time where i could capture them naturally. Which has turned into a great photo!!
Our life sure works in full circles for us – we keep finding out more and more things we have done as kids and yet we didn’t even know each other when younger!!
Fabulous pics, Lisa!!! Love the South Coast! Brought up in Canberrra, we used to go there often and my folks still hang out there a lot.
Love your lighthouse photo! x
