When we stayed at Moonan Cottage we took a ride up to Barrington Tops – having to stop at the top to open the “Gate” and shut the “Gate” – it is a Dingo Gate to keep the area safe from Dingos, mind you there was big holes along the fence line so not sure how successful the gate would be!!
Our first stop was Barrington Tops Picnic Area – which is really spooky in the day time, could only imagine how spooky it would be at the night time. I was so waiting for a “Monster” to jump out behind the trees and scare us all. Which is so very silly cause there is no such thing as monsters. But it was also spectacular at the same time, is that possible – to have something so beautiful it takes your breath away yet it was also very scary??
Yeah I was so waiting for the Big Boogy Monster to Jump out any moment! And Kyle picked up on my scary thoughts and decided to play with me.
Could you imagine camping here at Barrington Tops? Well you can as they have a camping section, which I am going to share so remember to come back to New Life on the Road to check out how amazing the camping area at Barrington Tops is.
We loved our scary time at Barrington Tops Picnic Area, it was cold, it was magical, it was so pretty. And thanks Kyle for scaring me so very much by jumping out at me! The big bad scary monster is real!!
