Bringing Him Home

With our Second Son being over in Perth, all by himself, I wanted to bring him home for David’s Birthday Surprise…..So for weeks on end there was numerous phone calls, emails, texts and secret planning. Its the very first time that I have had to keep something so very quiet for so very long, and the very first time I have had to make up stories of what our second son was going to do over the long weekend!

He nearly didn’t even make it cause he was almost not able to get time off over the four days.

Bringing Him Home ::

I booked his flight through Flight Centre {huge issues with that but that’s for another story!!} and he arrived in Sydney Friday afternoon. Our oldest Woody Son picked him up from the Airport and took him straight out to the farm. Where we were heading to on the Saturday, to meet our oldest son Girlfriend Family.

We arrived Saturday afternoon….and David had no idea that we were Bringing Him Home for his birthday Surprise.

And I had my camera ready for when our second son all of a sudden turned up next to his Dad….

And I was so much in the Moment that I forgot to take any photos!

But I did get a few over the three days……

TWO OLDEST WOODY SONS WORKING WELL TOGETHER

I so miss not having our second son close enough to hug whenever I want to, so miss not being able to see him whenever we can.  I wished he was based back in Sydney…..maybe one day he will be?

Happy Birthday Chilling Out

CHILLING OUT AT THE BON FIRE TOGETHER

Having fun

MUCKING AROUND!

Fire

IT WAS COLD ENOUGH FOR A FIRE

Something magical about a Fire, and this one almost looks like it was dancing!

LOVE THIS PHOTO

Unfortunately one of our sons would not get in the photo, and I had to accept his feelings and his reasons why. But the weekend was good – we got to see our second son and spend time together as a family!

It was so very hard to say Goodbye, and to give him a hug and not know when we will next see him again. But it was so good to be able to hug him whenever I wanted!

Just wished the weekend had lasted longer…..

Love Giving Surprises, Do You?

Cheers

Lisa

It’s so wonderful how all of you were able to come together, Lisa. Yes, I love giving surprises to bring joy to others. I really like your blog home page pictures. And it occurred to me just now that I noticed the boys had all gotten older in this year I’ve been following your wonderful stories and writing 🙂

Totally brilliant and what a wonderful surprise, his face must have been priceless. So good to see you all thriving and a big Happy Birthday to David!

I did surprise my Mum once turning up out of the blue at her work after being away from home for a few years in England. She didn’t know it was me…..then she wanted to murder me because she’d just had her holidays and had to work. I didn’t mind I went to work with her everyday. Wish I could give her a hug right now.

Those hugs are so important and so happy you were able to dish them out when you wanted xxxx

It just seems like yesterday we were all together chatting, an instant connection that lasted xxx
