Today we went for a drive and of course to find a Geocache out at Bucca. After looking around at the great little spot under the train bridge we decided to check out Bucca Hotel and see what they had on offer for food. SO very glad David suggested stopping there, it was the most cutest Pub/Hotel I have come across in a long time!
The Great Geocache Spot –
Funny enough we had to walk through Grass that was past our knees, to find the cache. It was water logged and yet it was very high up so it was a great indication to how the floods can get in the area. Great lesson for Kyle as he thought that the place couldn’t have much water around!
After we found the cache, logged our name in the log book, we then had to walk through the very scary long grass back to the road. From there we headed up the road to Bucca Hotel for a bit of lunch and so David and I could have some time together 🙂
When we walked in it felt so homey and felt like home! The decor is really welcoming and reminds me of an old English Pub! England has the best pubs in the world, where every one knows each other by name, and the fire is going in winter time. I love the old Country English Pubs.
Yeah he couldn’t wrap his mouth around that burger!!! He tried but it was way too big!
We love Chickens, they are the best pet ever!! We had some when we owned our place at D’aguilar, but haven’t had any since. I love watching them – they are the most easiest pet to own and they produce eggs which is what we mostly eat in our way of day to day living.
Yeah we sat outside, and got to have some relaxation quality time which David and I are really lacking lately.
Kyle loved the wheelbarrow garden beds – the flowers looked like they had faces on them!!!
We are so glad we stopped at Bucca Hotel for lunch, they had really yummy food at reasonable prices, and the peacefulness of the place was perfect for our escape time.
