Bundaberg Zoo

We have been to Bundaberg Zoo many years ago, before the floods. The other day we returned again to check it out – to see that they have recovered really well, and its still a cute little well clean well looked after place for such cute animals.

With the playground next door, and the walkway down to the Burnett River {great spot for fishing!} its an ideal spot for children as well as families {yes I enjoy the place just as much as they do}

ALL ABOUT THE EMU

Scared of Emu's chasing me!

SO GLAD HE IS BEHIND A TALL FENCE

I don’t know why but I have a really big fear of Emu’s. I am so very scared they are going to chase me, which is silly cause they can’t behind a fence. But I reckon if I was to see one in the wild I would freak out big time – where does the fear come from? No idea but its there!

We loved the Bundaberg Zoo – we only had an hour there the other day so we will be returning some time soon. Its so cool how its a free Zoo, even though technically its more of a Small Farm/enclosure with about 10 animals.

The playground next door is a great place to run off excess energy, and a great place to meet up with another travelling family.

Have You Been To Bundaberg Zoo?

Cheers

    why would you call it a ‘small farm’ looks like the animals are natives?

      Its a small Farm because its not really a Zoo but its not really a farm so I guess you could call it either 🙂
      Its a free place where you can enjoy the animals with your little kids, and a playground next door to it 🙂
