Since I have started to take a photo a day over at our Facebook page on “Learning to Be More Grateful and Accepting” I have started to realise and appreciate the little things in life! Little things that make my life all the better for noticing it. Then I came across Seven Cherubs challenge “Happy Days in May” where you write a sentence a day about something/anything that makes you happy!
Perfect Timing for May Challenge
Its perfect timing for writing something down for Happy Days in May Challenge. Instead of writing a sentence or two every day here at our blog Life on the on the Road I thought I would write a sentence a day every day and then share them every Saturday! So here goes….
Tuesday Happy Thought:-
Grateful that our son Nicholas is happy at High School and is making new friends. So happy that Hubby is able to get more sleep during the day while our boys are being quieter!
Wednesday Happy Thought:-
Happy that I can read a book to our youngest son while he drifts off to sleep in our bed, and happy that I can then change him to his own bed when he is fast asleep!
Thursday Happy Thought:-
So grateful for Kyle wanting to walk into town to play at the Skate Park with the Rip Stick as I so needed the exercise. Felt good to be out and about, walking and feeling the sun on my face.
Friday Happy Thought:-
Was so grateful that Zachery was able to watch Cameron and Kyle so that I could get a few hours sleep during the day. I so needed to play catch up with some sleep and was so much better afterwards! I woke up feeling a lot better for the much-needed sleep, and have decided to listen to my body more often!
Saturday Happy Thought:-
Happy thought for today…..was over the moon that David and I got to sleep in this morning…he crawled into bed about 5.00am and we got to sleep-in because our boys woke up and was kind enough to make their own Breakfast.
What Are Your Happy Thoughts For The Month of May?
Cheers

New Life on the Road
I like your Wednesday Happy thought as it combines two of my favourite mothering duties – reading books to my children (when they were little, not now as they are 25 and 21 years old), and watching them go to sleep and stay asleep while they change beds! Thanks for reminding me of happy thoughts Lisa!
