- Limited Storage so everything has to be put away
- Spend quality time and quantity time with each other
- We can move house when we want to another view

Living In A Home Disadvantages
- Too much storage space so you end up with too much un-necessary stuff!
- Too much that needs cleaning
- Have to stay in one spot!
- Too much that needs replacing, fixing, upgrading or needs maintenance
- Mortgage payments or high rent costs
- No time for quality/quantity for each other as there is always something to do!
- If you want to decorate the house the cost is higher then decorating a motorhome 🙂

We lived in a small caravan for a month between houses – our children were about 5 and 1.5 y.o. and they only had a couple of toys with them. The whole experience was liberating. Only simple meals, no time at all on cleaning. More time to sit under a tree and natter. I look forward to a time when we can downsize also.

Hi Jan,
It sure is a lot easier then living in a huge house! And downsizing is the best part…getting rid of stuff that we don’t really need is the best feeling!

It’s funny that I think nothing of living in hotel rooms for months on end, yet living in a Motorhome scares me. I think I’ll just live vicariously through you guys for now, but maybe I’ll get convinced as I read (although I don’t know if you’ll ever be able to convince my wife).

Hi Steve,
I am NOT a camping person – but living in a Motorhome is what I am comfortable doing! Its like a home, only on a smaller scale 🙂
If I can live the different simple lifestyle – imagine what you guys can do…but then again Hotel rooms are nice!
Cheers
