Today we spent some family time at My Oldest Son’s place, as Our Last Family Day. With Zachery allowing me take photos! It must be a very special occasion for him to agree to the Camera coming out and for me to get smiles on his dial π
Our Last Family Day ::
We arrived in the afternoon for a BBQ lunch, good times, lots of laughter and time to reflect on what our second son is going to go through with his Basic Training down in Melbourne. He is in for 11 weeks of lots of stuff that he has never been through before! And his big brother was giving him lots of tips/hints {mind you he reckons that he can’t remember what he went through cause it was too long ago!!}
Here is My Boys !!
Its a Rare moment when are all together!!!
One of My All Time Favorites

We Will Never Be The Same Again ~
We Are Now Down To Three Boys!
Tomorrow Zachery has to be at the Recruitment by 7.30am and then we have to be there by 9.30 am. We get to watch him pledge his life to the navy {with a hand on the bible if he so wishes}. Then we get about an hour to spend with him before he jumps onto a Bus which will take him to Sydney airport. From there is a flight to Melbourne, waiting at the airport for the Navy bus which takes him to basic training.
Our “New Life on the Road” maybe should be called “New Life on the Seas” π
Cause we are now going to be down to three boys, and our family life is changing once again!!!
Our Last Family Day was far too short, but it was fun while it lasted.
** If you are “new” to here you might want to read these to make sense of how we got to here!!

They grow far too fast!! And I do love spending time with them, mind you its a very rare moment when we are altogether anymore π
You’ll have to buy a yacht and chase them round the oceans! What a lovely family photo! I’m so amazed at how grown up your eldest two are and how young your youngest still is! Such a big gap!!!

I love getting family photos! We are never altogether anymore so its a rare moment…my oldest is 19 and my youngest is 8!! Our first two were only 17 months apart, and then all of our other boys were three years apart in age. Wished we could have gone back for more π
All the best to Zachery! It must have been a very emotional day for all of you. I can imagine it’s not easy for the younger boys to say goodbye to their big brothers!

Thanks Zachery for the kind words. Actually his younger brothers did better than me!!! They are happy for Zachery, and they know that they will get to see him when we go down for Zach march out Parade {in about 11 weeks time}. They also seem better at handling change in their lives π
It’s always nice to get everyone together – and when the boys smile, priceless!
Best wishes to Zachary.
BTW, you must feel like a queen with all those men in your house!
