Last week, or was it the week before? Can’t remember as time is going fast! We went into a Homeschooling event at the Ice-skating rink, and then afterwards to the Bundaberg Library.
Our next stop was lunch, which we buy from Targo Bakery as they have the best food for prices in the town of Bundaberg. Cameron loves his Sushi from there, and Kyle loves his Pies! I have tried their Vegetable Pies which are delicious even though they are not gluten free.
We did take away, and headed to Riverside Parklands in Bundaberg to eat lunch, and then to explore the water walk ways.
Riverside Parklands Bundaberg ::
We talk a walk along the boardwalk and came across this exercise Park. Cameron was able to do a few Chin Ups, I didn’t even try those ones!
I got the boys to count for when I completed my 2 sets, and I could still pull it off!!!
The whole area was under water, right up the embankment, which is very scary to think about. And amazing to see how well they have recovered from the floods.
He really wants to live on the water, and has started to design his own boat!
Gosh we have just noticed that he has lost all of his baby fat, and is getting taller, and sounds like a real teenager now days! Even smells like one 🙂
Love it when we see Signs like this one, it has lots of pics of what to find in the area, with information about the animals/plants/wildlife. Both boys had fun working out where each item was located by looking at the numbers and the descriptions, matching them up!
Best Homeschooling Lesson Right There.
Have You Been To Riverside Parklands Bundaberg?
Cheers

New Life on the Road
I think we may have always bypassed Bundaberg because none of these weird statues look familiar. The riverbank reminds me of Maryborough’s. I could feel how hot it was when you were there.
