This morning I woke up early as I thought that I needed to pick up Nicholas from Army Cadets Camp! Actually I didnt know what time he was needing to be picked up…yeah he forgot to tell me that bit!
After I had it confirmed that his camp finished at 12pm I drove home. But everyone was still sleeping, so I grabbed a Drink Bottle, an piece of fruit and headed out to Sarina Beach and Goodwin Beach Big Garage Sales.
I wasnt sure where the Garage Sales where going to be held but I did hear that the Shop in Sarina had a map to show you where it was being held. As soon as I got to the Petrol Station I saw the sign, and followed others into the Petrol station to get my map!

Sarina Beach Big Garage Sales
I headed to one place that I had already seen the sign for and then worked out where to head to next. I parked the car near the Beach front (near the Surf Club/Playground) and headed off on foot.
I walked the two streets….and here is the few bargains that I brought…..
Fridge Magnets! ~

Oh YEAH !
Never giving up coffee or Chocolate 🙂
I went all over Sarina Beach big garage Sales but I didnt make it to Goodwin Beach! I needed to go home and have Breakfast, and I so needed my coffee fix.
I even managed to pick up a few books for Zachery(20cents each), a work shirt for David($5.00), a Helicopter for Cameron ($1.00) (one that has to be put together!) and a Handbag for me…a brand new one for $4.00…yeah I love Garage Sales!

I love getting a bargain. Sometimes I feel embarrased going in if there are not a lot of people there , because I feel bad if I don’t buy anything! Love your purchases!

Hi Jan,
Yeah I feel the same! One garage sale I went to she was giving things away – I made sure she took some money for the toys, even though she didnt want to!
There sure is some great bargains at Garage Sales 🙂

I think I may have commented on your blog before. Anyway, my husband and I love yard, garage, rummage, etc. sales. Last summer we went to the World’s Longest Yard Sale. It is along Route 127 and is routed from Alabama northward to Michigan (about 600 miles). One has to select which section he/she would like to cover, because it can’t be done in one weekend. We concentrated on the area from Chattanooga to Jamestown, Tennessee. We started on Thursday morning and shopped through Saturday, moving along the highway at our own speed and stopping where we wanted. My buy of the weekend was an oval, had crocheted tablecloth for $15. Do you have anything like this in Australia? We plan to go again this year, the first full weekend in August and cover Kentucky and maybe part of southern Ohio.
Hi Wilma,
Never heard of such a big yard sale before! That would be so much fun – do you end up buying lots of great Bargains? I would be so over the moon yet trying not to buy too much!
Cheers
