Sorry but its not happening. I am not able to find the time to do another Youtube Video at the moment, answering your questions! I was Trying to Answer You with doing a Vlog but with our second son entering the Navy {spending time with him and family was really important} and now getting read to say Goodbye to our Oldest Son on Sunday I am not doing too well.
Actually I am not able to cope with the lack of time at the moment….trying to fit in my family needs/wants with Online work is not happening.
And to be honest I am not up to get my “Camera Face On” – its taking a lot out of me dealing with everything so I am pulling back on what I can/Can’t Do.

New Questions That We Are Getting ::
From Instagram user “Creating Contentment” – “I was talking about your today with my husband, and was curious how you afford to stay on the road. Can you point me in the direction of where I can read something about it on your blog? Thanks Lovely x”
I think that the question might be answered in one of the Vlogs above, but I thought that I would write it as well 🙂
My Answer ::
David is a Boat Builder by Trade but is able to Repair/Builds Caravans, and can wield. So basically he can work any job anywhere. In Mackay he was working 12 hour Shift Work as a Wielder, with Mining Conveyor Belts Systems.
Now in Wollongong he is working for a great Guy (the best boss ever) at “Keep On Travelling Caravans“
We also earn money from New Life on the Road (not enough money!) as well as David working where ever we are 🙂
Today He Played “Daddy Day Care”
after watching the DVD yesterday this was him today, setting up a Morning Tea for all of his “Children” that he was looking after!!
Another Question Via Email ::
Lauren “I have loved reading your blog & found it very informative. Â We are heading off in June 2014 on our around Australia trip. Â I have some questions if you would be kind enough to help me out that would be appreciated.
We have 2 children aged 7 & 9. I am in the process of finding out about homeschooling them while on the road. How did you prepare before you left? my kids both attend school at the moment and the oldest one is very apprehensive about leaving her friends. We try to include them in all aspects of planning and try to encourage her by asking what she really wants to see.
Have you been working whilst travelling around and how have you found work whilst moving? Applied for jobs before you got to a place or applied when you got there?
If I can ask what sort of budget you have, for fuel, food, camp fees etc as a guide?”
My Answer ::
We use Homeschooling Supplies Australia for our book supplies. As well as we connect with other Homeschoolers in the Wollongong Area (the best we have ever come across on our travels)
Lately we have been leaning towards “Natural Learning” where our boys learn by what they are interested in – the library is our best friend!!
Yes David works as we travel, mind you that will be changing next year!
David lines up work on the phone before we get to a town, or through friends. We did arrive in Wollongong with no Job but he walked from place to place until he found one that said “Yes” to a trail run, and he is still there!!
We are no good with Budgets, never have been!! We have three boys now living with us – aged 14, 11, and 8 – with our other two sons welcome to stay with us whenever they want. Our food is about $300.00 per week – we eat mostly Chicken, Fish or Vegetarian 🙂
Because we have our old family car we are needing a newer one, which will be better with fuel.
Our Motorhome is being fixed at the moment {with the fuel injectors being rebuilt by David} so we are hoping that it will cost less to run it when its all done!
Questions From Our Facebook Page ::
“Nnat Chalmers” – “Homeschooling… the maintaining discipline to keep up-to-date and how it works. Did you have to spend a lot of time educating yourself before taking the leap to homeschool the kids?”
Really flexible now that I am more comfortable with our Homeschooling style, and I know that they are “learning” through life. Have talked to many other Long Term Homeschoolers – and they are helping with our direction of where we are going with what style we are now using – Natural Learning
Kaelene Fassoularis “homeschooling, how do you keep up child interactions with other children on same age”
We meet with two different Homeschoolers in the Illawarra Homeschooling Area. And I watch them mixing with other Children the same ages. Both my boys are keeping up with others the same age, and I don’t see any concerns there. They learn through reading, and through exploring what they love.
And yes there social Skills are fine – they mix well with any Children, any age as well as Adults.
Hope that Answers Your Questions – when my family settles down in the next few weeks I hope to be back on top of everything ~ including cleaning the Motorhome, exploring more of Wollongong and Doing More Vlogs.
Sorry that for the moment Trying To Answer You was not happening the way I wanted it to!!

New Life on the Road
Just wanted to say you’ve a lot on your plate right now so don’t feel bad, you’re doing a great job.
🙂
Thanking you – should be back on top of things this week 🙂
I totally understand Lisa. I am in awe of the many women who raise children, blog, have a job. Superwomen! But when things become too much you have to pull back to the most important thing – your own family.
budget jan recently posted..Fantastic Friday – Cordoba Patios
Yeah I am so not sure how most Bloggers keep on top of it all, sometimes I get fed up with all of the online stuff, and think “Whats the Point” and then I realise that I blog for my family and our loyal readers…yet last week was crazy.
Now that I am able to breath a bit more it should be easier this week to catch up 🙂
