Yesterday was Mothers Day here in Australia. And it felt weird not having all of my boys with us but we still wanted to create a great day with our younger ones so I only had one request – to spend the day at Buderim Waterfalls on Mothers Day, having fun and sharing a quality day together creating memories. And my dream day came true – it was so much fun and I loved every moment of our laid back care-free loved filled day.
Another Bucket List is crossed off – Buderim Waterfalls. Great easy walk in and a great easy walk out – probably the easiest Waterfall walk we have come across so far!
In the morning I was so very spoilt with my favorite breakfast ::
David used Sour Dough Bread Rolls – Bacon, Poached Eggs and his own Secret Home Made Eggs Benedict Sauce – So very yummy even though its not the healthiest dish ever 🙂
After the kitchen was cleaned up, and everyone was filled up with yummy breakfast we headed out to Buderim Falls.
Both boys were stunned over the “Big Tree” that had fallen down on the Walking track but had to be cut up so that people could keep using the path. Cameron was stunned on how “Smooth the wood had become” over time, and we had a science lesson right there at that very moment. A perfect way Homeschooling works well for us.
The information on what is grown in the area, and what animals are living there. Would love to return another time to see it at night time, I reckon it would be so special to see all the animals out and about – maybe one day soon we will return with torches!
So very glad that we spent the day together at Buderim Waterfalls on Mothers Day – creating memories and having fun!
We were all wondering if the Bush Turkey eggs had hatched, or did an animal {Like a Goanna} eat the eggs?
Not sure if they are safe to eat, and I wasn’t willing to try them out 🙂
Have You Been To Buderim Waterfalls?
Cheers
Lisa
